MalwareBytes is still my favorite Malware Removal tool, and although it may not detect everything, it'll just make me more cautious about what websites I go to. And I use Linux for browsing anyway and Windows 7 for Gaming.

that rogue you downloaded and malwarebytes anti malware didnt pick it up, you can still scan your computer with it, and it will get rid of it, i have also noticed malwarebytes anti malware blocks viruses from doing certain things.

@nathanhitman1 there is many ways of detecting virus through windows task manager, one is that virus does have mostly name of a program you ever installed, and one easy thing to do is to check your task manager once a day to see if there is any new one's, keep a list to see all trusted applications and after you have had few viruses and you have recognized them you will recognize all viruses through task manager. That doesn't mean you have a virus. some times sites get hijacked you click on it then it redirects you. But if you got redirected from myspace, youtube, facebook or any other major website then something is wrong.

If you leave the site soon, close browser fast enough you will not get it sometimes. But if MalwareBytes don't find it you'd prob be okay.

Malwarebytes is messed up on my computer, I turn on the Real Time Protection and it keeps saying that McAfee Site Advisor is Trojan.Vundo, same for Norton 2009, SUPERAntiSpyware, and Svchost.exe. What is wrong with it?
