Besides their original value as entertainment, TV shows this old, like those from the 60's and 50's are unique sociological summations of the era in which they were made. The editing and scripting are all artifacts of a particular time, place and attitude. Love it!
Jesus, this was from the late 70's... I remember watching these when I was in elementary school... yet it seems like just yesterday. I used to love the electronic music in the show...that kind of music was just beginning to catch on as something one could get into without that much money... well.. less than $5000. :)

how those giant ground drawings survived on the surface for so long? for thousands of years? wtf?

droughts, and people not messing with them would be my guess
Aghostdance 2 years ago
@ActiveStorage there is an answer to that question
as those figures were drawn on a plain which is wind and rain free, so it is impossible to erode
i wonder how they knew that back then though

@4BadKarma ok rain free maybe, but no wind there? how is that possible. those are huge open spaces right there and no wind? sounds like bs to me
ActiveStorage 1 year ago
@ActiveStorage yea yea i thought the same thing
but as the land is so dry it isn't even dusty, so if there even is some wind there's nothing to blow away

AWESOME video; even as old as it is, it still provides information helpful to the study ancient vistors, ufos, ancient civilizations, etc.
