@excitationz Birds are an older species than humans and almost all other species on the planet, because they are the only living descendants of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs dominated the planet for millions of years before humans learned how to walk. We should have the right to own such birds as pets, it's sad that there is almost no bird that you can catch nowadays that is not protected by the Migratory Bird Act. This extreme law should be amended to allow people to keep birds as pets with a permit.

@Cenon2007 Yes you are right I was going to include crocodiles but I read that birds were the only surviving species of dinosaurs, whereas crocodiles are a modified form of dinosaurs. Birds existed during the time of other dinosaurs as they evolved from them a couples of millions years after the beginning of the dinosaurs' species. The only dinosaur species that exist today are Archosaurs, which includes only birds and crocodiles.

@User100606 Technically birds and crocodiles are not species of dinosaurs. They are a separate evolutionary lineage from the dinosaurs. While they are stil Archosaurs, they are in different clades. Yes, birds did evolve from dinosaurs, but they are not dinosaurs themselves. Just like how all mammals evolved from a small shrew-like animal, but we are not all considered shrews.

What you have described is not how evolution works at all. In fact, you are so far from the actual science of it that it is no wonder you cannot believe it! When explained well, evolution makes perfect sense and is supported by every field of science, from geology, to chemistry, even the fundamental laws of physics.

@asemoknyo believe me I'm reading a lot of books, and I'm a student in medical school second year, and the evolution is a story, when you read it you see that they are talking about it like a scientific truth, but when you want the proofs you see nothing, just a story.. why there isn't any intermediate form of fossils? Darwin said if my theory is right you have to find millions and maybe billions of intermediate forms of fossils, like a dinosaur with half wing or a fly with tail..
