I can't get the world list to showup when I click on plus sign and then use the dictionary attack. I cant see the wordlist.text however, when I go to Cain directory I can see the wordlist.txt, It's driving me crazy. ( windows 7 with 360 firewall on) but u don't think it matters. Can u help me to get this working? I have paper due for this tool.

I did try it before I typed, and some things worked, some didn't. The dictionary file attack just said something along the lines of "0 of 0 hashes cracked". I'd rather the full program work than just some of it, because it's a pretty large program.

It's not a virus. It's 100% safe. If you don't want to trust it, simply don't use it. Don't complain when other password crackers give the same result though.
