I see this MTH loco does what many of the MTH locomotives do and that's the interior light flashes when the ditch lights flash. This is a common flaw with MTH locomotives however, if you really know a great deal about the inner-workings... I'm told there's a way of fixing the issue so that only the ditch lights flash? It's a cool video just the same.
METRA is Chicago Number One Commuter Rail Line. I wish I could ride it as far as Milwaukee, if route is available, or just a round trip in Aurora Line, where BN CLASSIC E LOCOS used to run. Greetings from MEXICO.
Great video!!! Love to see Metra in action. Although the lack of proper announcements ("Now approaching WHATEVER TOWN" and "Caution, the doors are about to close") and lack of Metra's distinctive two-note door warning chime coupled with all that 'station talk' of baggage and help therewith makes me glad my three Metra locs. are all Proto 1-- they all run just fine. Listening to that inane chatter, one has to wonder what MTH was thinking.
