@kaiserkill wow thanks for the quick reply! I have been trying to know its name for a long time now, it came up in the movie copying Beethoven by Ed Harris as well.
An excellent serial to look into Beethoven's soul, to meet the man Beethoven, with his light and dark side, to become the divine one, finally....
Maybe it is that deeply human inbeing, which is present in all his compositions, and which is recognizable for all human beings as a part of their own heart and soul, and why he is beloved all over the world, and why only he could write the "Alle Menschen werden Brüder"....
when i listen to the ode to joy i picture the good willed people of the world singing it together for all the universe to hear... its the quintessential expression of human brotherhood to me
I have read numerous biographies concerning the life of Ludwig van Beethoven, including the highly regarded one by Barry Cooper, and none them include any evidence that Beethoven ever struck or was physically violent towards his nephew in anyway. He was NEVER physically abusive towards Karl.
What is the name of the piece at 4:38?

Holy Crap... Paul Rhys is giving his 110% to this documentary reenactment. It's haunting, extraordinary and profoundly touching.
