Hi Trish, you brave girl! I have made ONE flannel quilt and I am not sure I'll ever do it again! Your blocks and quilt are looking GORGEOUS!!! I love to do just a straight stitch on the sashing, especially when the top has so much going on. Decorative stitching would just be lost anyway, or be a distraction from the blocks :)
