Forge isn't possible in Halo 1. It's hard coded into Halo 3 just like the film theater and syncing AI online.

Forge, is sorta possible, but not dynamically, if everyone just learns how to make maps then there you go, a more editable forge concept.

I had suggested an idea to Doan, to also release an empty Foundry, with no H3MT Content except for the map and the forge objects. Then, we'd let people make maps, and submit them for us to test them with H3MT weapons and such and see if it's worthy of being released with H3MT weapons (protected of course). Problem is there could still be stupid AI mods, and/or there'd be too many submissions for peoples map to have H3MT weapons and be released.

How about, this idea is a crude way to do it, make every object a vehicle? like the mancannon in the narrows map (sorry for modding it, awesome job on that, offtopic) then if you give the vehicle a name, then voila, forge, cus it spawn right next to you, and only the host can do it (and Rcon too), so using an empty map with named forge objects gives the ability to place stuff dynamically. the only downside is that you need to redo it every round, but we have to start somewhere. cmt_sux tag lol>>

HDoan isn't on, so I can't show him right now. I'll get back to you soon on this. Oh, and rcon, if you've ever used it to spawn all the weapons, then they spawn at the host, not at the client who used the command, so it could cause problems. Also, I don't think Doan cares if you mod the map for your own personal enjoyment. Now, if you were to RELEASE the map or give it to random people who ask, then he'd get pissed off.

you would ned HEK and the scenario file...and everytime you made it you would need to re compile, but if you really wanted too use the HEK+ and extract the scenario file and add stuff move stuff, quite simple...you need to think about things before you say it, ^^ just kidding
