@lintufeathers There's two versions of the manga. One is Shounen-Ai, and the other is Homoerotic Shoujo.

As for the anime, there were quite a few boy/boy scenes. What with Rin, the blood licking, the flirting and that whole thing with Keisuke. Were you asleep the whole time? No offense.

Anyway, yes, Togainu is a Yaoi game for the PC, which was then made into an anime/manga/PS2 game.

@LadyEnzai I don't really call that flirting what has gone on so far... It's listed as a yaoi series so I expected at least some kissing or smooching... don't get me wrong, I love the series but yaoi it ain't! Yes, I get it that Keisuke is head over heels for Akira but all he does is pine for him without ever really touching him or spelling it out. And blood licking can mean any number of things.

But where can I get the shoujo version of the manga? Our UK amazon only has the tame version.

But canonly, the franchise is Yaoi. As for Keisuke, he is offically in love with Akira. Saying that the blood licking can mean a number of things is silly. Because in the game, those men were trying to get into Akira's pants when they did that. You can read the other version online for free. Not sure if it's been licensed for sale yet. Check mangafox.

The anime is out! The first episode English-Subbed on a site called Animephase (.com). Type Togainu no chi into the search box at the top of the homepage, and the 1st episode will come up ^^ Its good: The plot seems promising, and though the characters are a little cliche, they have promise as well. And the characters look as they do in the game.

Finally, its realized that some girls enjoy gory action with their romance.

It may just be me, but it seems that the vast majority of yaoi fans are hypocrites. I've noticed this by being a fan of both yaoi and yuri... They'll jump on someone putting down yaoi, rant and rave. But then turn around and complain about yuri being gross and what not. It makes me sad, and a tad bit embarrassed to be a yaoi fan.

@YukiChazz I hgeard the reason why tjhey don't bring yaoi over anymore is cause they found to many threads online and it wasn't selling as much. Thing is, when I baught the few they had in english they were always more expensive than even the newer hentai or yuri. they say they stopped cause noone bought them but no one bought them cause they purposely jacked up the price cause it was yaoi. just like the manga. stores by me dont even sell it nemore but they got tons of hentai....
