Having lived on the Highveld and in Johannesburg most my life, I must disappoint you and tell you that those lightning strikes were nowhere near your house. They were several kilometres away. I have experienced lightning striking the ground about 5 metres from me and I can positively tell you it is nothing like what you have captured here. The sound of lightning that close can burst your eardrums.
However, that said, your footage is lovely. And indeed a raretly for the Cape! Well done!
Those two bolts might have actually been only a few feet away as you can hear two faint cracks which makes me think they were streamers. As a lightning bolt is heading towards the ground it makes a connection with a streamer as the ground is responding to the decending step leader. Several streamers will appear, but the main bolt will only make contact with one or two.
Actually, they didn't strike a few feet from you. Its just a trick made by the camera. It looks like it, but it isnt. You can tell by the thunder, they were a good quarter mile or so away.
