  • bent over, BENT

  • Es buenisima ! me encanto .

  • god, why the hell did I watch this, I can't stop crying now

Not the pump to anyone!

  • Oh, I can't wait to watch this! Looks amazing.

  • @beecharmer32 you know that was absolutely beautiful what you said...that tugged at my heart strings & brought tears to my eyes...

  • omg.. i just love the idea that someone made a movie about the gays in that period.

we all have seen a world war 2 movie about jewish people (also heartbreaking and awful)

but this is what i always wanted to see.

and it looks fantastic.. thanks for sharing.

  • amazing movie. makes people rethink once again.

  • @Kongkos it's that kind of attitude that puts you on the same level as the nazi.

  • @tipsycat27 Sorry man...But I don't think so...History is history...Nowdays Germany has imposed on Greece a different kind (form) of Nazism...So ..if you don't know the facts you should not speak...Coz this theories of yours about attitudes, levels and green horses doesn't have anything to do with the reality in which greek people been forced to live...

  • @Kongkos That doesn't make any sense. The only form of nazism going on in Greece that I'm aware of (feel free to enlighten me) is Golden Dawn- and probably a few more organisations. And form what I've read, the Greek police do little to control the matter. But just because a group of Greek's have taken to Nazi ways, definitely does not put the rest of the modern German society to blame. Very, very few of them probably know it's going on.

  • @tipsycat27 It's not just that..It's many other things you don't know ...For example Siemens...(a long long story)..But I'll tell you one thing that say's it all..Germany lents to Greece 1.000€.For that loan Greece should pay back 5.000€. Τhen Germany forces Greece to buy weapons who cost 900€ to protect her bounderies from Turkey.(bounteries which supposed to be europian bounderies since Greece is Europe).Greece can't say no so here we are..Germany wins and Greece is the bad country who cheats

  • @Kongkos You people that you;re living in England, Germany ect..your next country is France and Italy and and and ect ..you don't have a clew how is to live next to Turkey with the constanly war threats and violations of airspace..You just like that ...coz Greece is the only country in Europe in which you can sell your expensive weapons and your war ships and the under watter ships...But it's like Los Angeles is in danger and California sells to LA weapons or something like...

  • In Holocaust Jews are to what, as elderly are to disabled in Medicare program here in America (China and Canada both have Medicare for all citizens, and US Armed Forces has VA or Tri Care, yet Tri Care does not include Cedars, only UCLA in their list, so my friend Sgt. Blair Van Pelt. Ret., USArmy, largest force in the service, had a cover as she comes from a middle class upbringing like me). I am proud my father and grandfather served in uniform in Active and Reservist duty positions, my fathe

  • @LadyStardustSoul Streets of Berlin

  • @Kongkos What a stupid thing to say. As a Jew AND gay....what should todays german have to suffer for what their grandparents did? Ask yourself instead how it can be that these things still happens today

  • @walentineboy Actually the sickness is in their blood...hidden..Look man...I'm greek...Greece is 4000 years older than Germany...and never ever did what Germans done...And could do it easy...But if you are a sivilized human you can never do things like this...It's sick....What their grandparents did? It's not that back to the past...My grandparents lived it and they still remember...Anyway..All i want to say is that Hitler always gonna be Hitler...

  • I want to see it, but story's like this never have a happy ending.

I'm secretly hoping that they will escape and run away together, but I am expecting to much. I know that at that time, it never happened.

  • This movie was so strong, I could hardly watch it....and knowing that it could happen again, that it still happens.....one of those guys could have been me.

  • My dad's parents saw the 'writing on the wall' and left Berlin in the early 30's to come to the USA. This film was brilliant and being of German decent, Jewish and Gay, it was very difficult to watch. We cannot allow those denying the Holocaust ever happened to rewrite history.

  • The truth of how humanity over all feels unable to feel true peace within themselve so they lash out at other humans to still their own doubts. There have always been minorities & there will always be *fear of the unknown or what is within ones self that doesn't fit societies norm. May we remember those who came before us, who lived a harsh truth but none the less found peace in themselves & love beyond the hate of others! Be proud to love yourself as you are & love beyond condition.

  • I've never watched this movie before, but just watching the trailer made me cry so hard. :'(

  • it was all serious until it said "... and MICK JAGGER!"

  • @playmymusic96 I can't get no, sat - tis - fact -ion,,,

  • This look so sad ....! Makes you tink about what people would have hadto face.im so appy tat i was born wen i was borna nd that i can love the people i love ...

  • hi where can i watch the entire movie?

  • @PB1389 letmewatchthis.ch :):)

  • This movie made me physically ache. That's how moving it is.

  • what was friggin wrong with the nazis? the epitome of human malice. SMH

  • Shocking

  • i thought red was the worst triangle because it meant communist

  • ....Época difícil para muitos....lindo filme e cheio de subjetividade....perfeito...

  • How can the humankind do this to each other? Why all this senseless hate? It brings nothing but suffering.

  • Comment removed

  • @jusifymysoul quite easily if one person is a christian and the others are either jews or gays

  • WHY didn't they release a soundtrack? Philip Glass & Mick Jagger? It's complete insanity.

  • Maravillosa película, el conflicto tiene muchas más miradas, y esta es una de ellas

  • This movie made me cry!!

  • @Renegade0413 Not true! :O it may not be as bad as what the Nazi's were doing to gays [and people of different races, religions, and political views] but GBLT's still suffer discrimination and hate crimes everywhere in the word. Yes, its more accepted in the world today but there are still people out there who disagree with GBLT peoples sexual orientation and choose to act on it in a non-just way.

  • Very moving movie ... I'm watching it now!

  • and the world just keeps on forgeting...

  • Just performed the "bowl of soup" scene between Horst and Max that happens right after the "train scene" last night. This play is SO FUCKING POWERFUL. It helped I had one of the best actors I've ever come across as a partner. But nonetheless it is a play everyone should read and a movie everyone should see.

  • This movie, as many of WWII, was powerful!

  • everybody in this movie can suck jagger's legendary cock....long live the stones

  • Wow, rather than just commenting on the power of this film, there's a whole lot of ridiculous and divisive debate between racial, social and minority classes. Can't we just enjoy the film for what it is and NOT act like a bunch of hatemongering idiots? This is really a sad example of the state of modern culture...

  • :'( this trailer made me cry. It looks very good and interesting.

  • Haha it would be funny if the nazis were just about to execute him and he yelled "SIEG HEIL" and they let him away... works every time....

  • My favorite part was the scene with the song "Streets of Berlin." So beautiful!

  • one of the BEST movies of all time

  • This was such a good movie!

  • Jews, homosexuals, the mentally ill, it doesn't matter which minority group suffered the most. Sufferances are not to be compared. It matters that they suffered and that such a horrendous incident as the holocaust should never repeat itself.

  • soooooooooo sad....

  • Actually there was no "annihilation of German homosexuals".

  • @punipunipunisher What kind of blatantly ignorant person would claim such a thing? You just decide to ignore historical evidence for the sake of justifying your own social prejudices? You are just as bad as those who denied the holocaust happened at all. Almost 15,000 homosexual men died in German concentration camps between 1933 and 1945. They had one of the worst death percentage rates of concentration camp victims. Before you make such offensive, ignorant statements, do your research!

  • @laurl921

An why do you lie now? 100,000 were arrested, and quoting USHMM, only 5,000-15,000 (not "almost 15,000") were interned in camps (not "died", fewer still died). Out of hundreds of thousands (or millions, if one would also count the women and the bisexual men like Adolf Hitler). Some "annihilation".

  • @punipunipunisher "Next to the Jews, the homosexuals had the highest mortality rate. Approximately 75% of those interned "Pink Triangle" homosexuals died in the concentration camps."

  • @FreshAfricanPussy

Fine. So, how is "75% of 5-15,000" men (out of 100,000 arrested, and many more not even arrested) "annihilation of German homosexuals"?

Do you know what "annihilation" means? Do you know what happened to the mentioned German Jews?

  • @punipunipunisher why the fuck are you asking me all I did was copy and paste something and put it in quotation marks, go ask jeeves.

  • @punipunipunisher "Annihilation - destruction by annihilating something" "Annihilate - eliminate: kill in large numbers" if you think 75% of 15,000 isn't a large number, then you're not as smart as you imply ;[ so yes, they did in fact "annihilate" the homosexuals of Germany.

  • @FreshAfricanPussy

    Oh fucking Christ.

Annihilation is defined as "total destruction" or "complete obliteration" (Wikipedia)

    annihilation [əˌnaɪəˈleɪʃən]

    n

    1. total destruction

    2. the act of annihilating

Not of "of 15,000", but "of 5,000-15,000". Out of millions (including 100,000 arrested, but 85-95% of those ARRESTED were not EVEN interned in camps, and tens of thousands of the arrested were not even put in regular prisons). And most were not arrested AT ALL.

    You idiot.

  • @punipunipunisher hay kid, I'm just telling you what's in the dictionary if you wanna be ignorant go ahead, but I'm gonna stick by the definition of the word.

  • @FreshAfricanPussy And what "dictionary" is this? Write them and inform them annihilation means "total/complete destruction" and literally "turning to nothing" (because "nihil" is the Latin for "nothing"). In the context, it would be 100% or close to this (like the Jews of Poland etc.). So no, there was no "annihilation of German homosexuals". And so no wonder few people know about such an imaginary "fact".

  • @punipunipunisher actually, that's incorrect if it meant total/complete destruction, then people wouldn't say "Total annihilation" second of all, I got my facts from a source. You get your facts from ignorance and denial. Use google more often.

  • @FreshAfricanPussy And what is this mysterious "source",eh? Because my source (only 5-15,000 "protective custody" interned out of the 100,000 arrested) is the USHMM. That's the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum for you. Article: Persecution of Homosexuals in the Third Reich. Quote: "Most of the 50,000 men sentenced by the courts spent time in regular prisons. (...) There are no known statistics for the number of homosexuals who died in the camps. " Use google less often.

  • @punipunipunisher Lol what? you made noooo sense! lol, first of all this "mysterious source" is a trusted website with nothing but facts, this doesn't change the fact that you're trying to change the subject to make yourself less dumb, it just makes you seem more dumb.

  • @FreshAfricanPussy You know, you just made me wonder what might be more "trusted" on the subject than the :dumb" USHMM. So, what is this "trusted website with nothing but facts" (aka the "mysterious source", aka "your ass")?

  • @punipunipunisher Like I said, use google more often, it could help you gain intelligence. ;D

  • @FreshAfricanPussy Like I said, use google less often (and read more), "it could help you gain intelligence".

    You idiot.

  • @punipunipunisher Yeah I didn't read the website, I just gained the information through my psychic powers. are you fucking retarded?

  • @FreshAfricanPussy WHAT WEBSITE. Its name. Like I told you I've got my information from the USHMM's website, the exact article, and. You fucking total idiot. No, wait. Just fuck you.

  • @punipunipunisher that's cool that you can say that you did, doesn't necessarily make it true, I don't see how I'm an idiot when you're the one that can't understand hitler annihilated both jews and gays.

  • YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKER: "Between 1933 and 1945 the police arrested an estimated 100,000 men as homosexuals. Most of the 50,000 men sentenced by the courts spent time in regular prisons, and between 5,000 and 15,000 were interned in concentration camps. (...) There are no known statistics for the number of homosexuals who died in the camps." That's the DIRECT FUCKING QUOTE. It's ONLINE you idiot. Annihilation is defined as "total destruction" or "complete obliteration". Now fuck you.

  • @punipunipunisher annihilation can be used in many forms, the way I used it was correct. The homosexuals were infact annihilated along with the jews. Get your smarts up

  • @FreshAfricanPussy Mr idiot: the homosexual [male]s were "infact" NOT annihilated along with "the jews". The Jews were being killed in by MILLIONS, including in the MASSIVE shootings (like tens of thousands in ONE DAY of the Operation Harvest Festival in 1943) and in a huge gas chambers. About 60% of the Jews of Europe were killed (even more if you count only Germany and the occupied countries). And how many gays of Germany died? Less than 1%. Actually the Soviets killed more gays in the GULAG.

  • @punipunipunisher Lol, actually 75% of the homosexuals died. They had the highest mortality rate next to the jews, you're being retarded again. Homosexuals were treated way worse than the jews.

  • @FreshAfricanPussy YOU FUCKING IDIOT. 1) Not "75%", but no one knows. 2) In any case ONLY A FEW THOUSAND WERE SENT TO CAMPS (anywhere of between 5-15,000) - out of MILLIONS of gay and bisexual men in Germany (and even Hitler was bisexual). But as of the Jews, in Poland there were 3.5 million of them in 1939, but only 50-100,000 in 1945. So between 1933-1945 (12 years) maybe a few thousand gay people died, but more Jews were dying DAILY during Endlosung (even tens of thousands on a single day)!

  • @FreshAfricanPussy

I mentioned the Operation Harvest Festival (Erntefest). You know what it was? On November 3, 1943, the SS and police killed over 40,000 Jews in Poland. On this one single day, all still-living Jews in the Lublin District who were not in hiding were shot. THIS is called "annihilation". And you dare to say, what that the gays were somehow "treated worse"? You fucking retard?

  • @punipunipunisher Lol, it's a fact that they were treated worse, homosexuals didn't fit into hitler's perfect race plan because they couldn't reproduce. If it doesn't mention so in your "ultimate article" then it's not a correct citable source. second of all you don't use question marks when you're using a derogatory term. I think you're mad because you're jewish, and you feel that because the homosexuals were annihilated as well, it would take the special mistreatment away from the jews. ;[

  • How could by ANY treatment be worse then being actually annihilated (Jews)? Again, the German "homosexuals" (actually gays only, female homosexuals were never repressed in any life-threatening way whatsoever) of Germany mostly (in their overhelming majority) did NOT die because of persecution! Actually MANY more died in the war (and by this I mean they were killed by the Allies as the Germans - and the bisexual man Adolf Hitler commited suicide). And do you REALLY have no idea what the USHMM is?

  • @FreshAfricanPussy I'm not Jewish at all, I'm German-Polish. Oh, and I'm actually bisexual. But you, good sir, are a total fag. Whatever your actual sexual orientation or gender is, because by "fag" I mean you are a total motherfucking stupid asshole.

Oh, and the gays who were prisoners at the time of the liberation often had to serve the rest of their sentences in the prisons now under the Allied managament (just like the other non-political and non-racial prisoners).

  • @punipunipunisher I'm the stupid one, yet you don't understand that words have multiple meanings.

  • @punipunipunisher and I'd love to sit here and argue about how I'm right and you're wrong, but sadly I do other things like go outside, and throw up from looking at your face. ;D

  • (And non-German Jews too, for that matter.)

  • gandalf is also gay? is that true!!!

  • Fictional characters in a real setting does not work. They call this story the gay anne frank, the only difference is Anne Frank was a real girl. If the writer of this story had any sense at all, he would have created a fictionalized setting where the characters could be persecuted for being gay.

  • Mick Jagger in drag could be the funniest thing I've seen all year.

  • @edmund184 I always thought he looked like a drag queen.

  • You can actually watch this movie for free d @ MOOV ZON . COM search the above link on google

  • oh..and before the killed me i would be used in medical experiments :(

  • I'm not gay...but i do have a heart condition & diabetes. I would have been killed instantly O_o

  • how does "Bent" end? do they stay alive? or do they die? i'm not sure i can bare to watch it, so please tell me how it ends!

  • It's not a happy ending. :/

  • One of the 2 main characters is shot by a guard, another commits suicide.

  • @punipunipunisher Great job ruining the ending asshole.

  • wow, you're mentally retarded AND you know how to work the internet. kudos!

  • i'm playint max in the play.

i want to see the movie but i cant find him, somone can help me ? thank you.

  • it's all about us...

  • LOVED it!

  • FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!!! RECOMEND IT TO ANYoNE

  • I'm playing Rudy in the play. I want to see the movie but I think I will wait until after the play closes after Thanksgiving. Since this is my first big role and I want to develope it all on my own.

  • Those two queers are gorgeous!

    !

  • heartbreaking movie

    It shows reality....

  • Wicked movie.

  • This movie is just so sublime and powerful... great acting, music and a compelling, intense story. I just love it.

I think this movie is necessary because it shows what we (Im gay) went through, and that it was just as bad for us as it was for the Jews and the Communists and everyone else the Nazis didnt agree with. If anything, for me this is a movie showcasing the very best and worst of Human nature.

  • @kakalunga

From what i've heard homosexuals were the lowest of the low in the concentration camps. Gay men would even take off the pink triangle and put the star of David on to make it a little easier, that's pretty bad.

  • i want to see this movie

  • de donde puedo bajar la pelicula con subtitulos en español????

  • It would be food for thought for those bears and others who love to dress up in Nazi uniforms in SM parties....

  • es una buena pelicula

    recomendada

  • @labanlieusarde09

It is true. Homosexuals can have a legal partnership, marriage, here in germany (although it's still a little bit different concering the law). There still are some difficulties with adopting but that's in the work, I believe.

Not hard to believe, germany changed.

  • actually , it is the first movie I see that deals with homosexuals in nazi germany , I think it is a fucking big problem.

one has to remember that it were not only the jewish people who were killed.

    that really pisses me off.

but of course , who the fuck gives a shit about minorities. :////////////

  • OMG! that is so sad! And how ironic was it that Nazi Germany was the place of all the tyrany in Europe when Pre-World War I and II it was one of the most accepting and liberating places in Europe.

  • Nothing ironic about it. Hitler came to power and that was when everything changed.

  • I totally agree with you. It seems that you have read up and know the facts well. Germans are one of the most the liberal and accepting nationalities in the world. I guess the compensations and sanctions imposed on the country at the WWI left the country in recession, driving the people to look for an alternative government. And that happened to be Hitler. I don't think they knew he would be this extreme and by the time, the Germans discovered the true nature of Nazism, it's too late.

  • I'm glad that it's all changed now and that homosexual people can marry here in germany. I think it's a complete okay thing to do...the trailer looks very heartbreaking

  • could someone plz tell me were i can find this movie online

  • I uploaded it here, on Youtube.

  • oh.. thinks :)

  • Maravillosa película

  • Thanks for this trailer. Shocking to see!!!! It seems a good movie!

  • Hello, thanks for uploading.

In Belgium and in Germany it is forbidden to deny the Holocaust. (6 milllion jews killed, and the gaschambers) by law.

There should be a law about the denying of the Gay Holocaust, when one reads what some people write here.

May Jesus have mercy on those who deny are laugh with what has happened or with gays now.

    Holebi's ♥♂♂,♀♀♥

  • if the ad depressed me the film is gonna rip out my soul O.o it looks amazing though. also..was a tad suprised by the sudden apearance of mick jagger :D

  • I just watched this through Netflix ordering. This is a movie where I can only watch 1 time and I wanted to cut it off since it is torturing or tormenting... 5 stars in my book... I do love the scene where the two men where able to feel one another through words. The ending was just fucked, seriously.

  • where can i watch it online? i've been looking 4 ages. I really wanna c this movie!!!!

  • one word WOW

  • This movie looks so good! I want to watch this movie so bad now! T.T

  • Such a wonderful movie, I am hella crying.

  • I watched it last night, was in tears! Such a sad movie, yet very powerful.

  • This movie looks amazing.

Does anyone know the what the music that's playing at the end is called?

  • one of the best films out there love it

  • so saaad, so beautiful!

I love this movie, the story and the performances from clive owen and lothaire bluteau... AMAZING

  • OMG!!! LUV IT!!! ^-^ <33333333333

  • i really want to see this movie now! oh my it looks so sad but amazing!

  • wear your pink triangle with pride

  • This movie is the most wonderful movie I have ever seen...

  • i have not seen the film but this brings tears to my eyes.

  • One word: WOW

  • CLIVE OWEN... This is a face i didnt though he had! Im sooo looking for this movie.. Is there really a lot of sex simulated scenes? ..or just a few going with the story?

  • wow....so tragic

  • is it like tragically sad or is there somehow a happy ending?... looks like an incredible film, but i'm not in the mood for really sad :(

  • you'll just have to watch ;)

  • chica476: you should put a spoiler alert before commenting about the end of the movie....retarded BITCH

  • i really want to see this, but is it very gruesome? why is it rated nc17?

  • It's mostly NC-17 cuz of the first 20 minutes of the movie. It shows all the decadence and sex that was happening in Berlin in the early 30s. There's a lot of nudity and simulated sex. I don't think it was like gratuitous though. they depicted it that way to show how decadent Berlin was. it's a great movie! u should see it

  • alright thankss, i think ill check it out

  • I think it shouldnt be NC-17 because there are much more sexual and disturbing pictures than Bent which are rated only R.

The movie itself is a very emotional and tragic story, my favourites parts are when they are touching without touch. Very sincere romance and heartbreaking picture. Loved the both actors and the atmosphere with scenery was great too. I recommend to everyone

  • I think the rating has a lot to do with the violence and cruelty as well, not just the sex bits. But anyway, it's definitely worth seeing. *recommends to everyone* ^^
