This movie was so strong, I could hardly watch it....and knowing that it could happen again, that it still happens.....one of those guys could have been me.

Just performed the "bowl of soup" scene between Horst and Max that happens right after the "train scene" last night. This play is SO FUCKING POWERFUL. It helped I had one of the best actors I've ever come across as a partner. But nonetheless it is a play everyone should read and a movie everyone should see.

I just watched this through Netflix ordering. This is a movie where I can only watch 1 time and I wanted to cut it off since it is torturing or tormenting... 5 stars in my book... I do love the scene where the two men where able to feel one another through words. The ending was just fucked, seriously.

Unfortunately, Clive Owen's character commits suicide on an Electric Fence while being held in a concentration camp. It's a film that is hard to watch at some point but a powerful and necessary one nonetheless.
It's mostly NC-17 cuz of the first 20 minutes of the movie. It shows all the decadence and sex that was happening in Berlin in the early 30s. There's a lot of nudity and simulated sex. I don't think it was like gratuitous though. they depicted it that way to show how decadent Berlin was. it's a great movie! u should see it
I think it shouldnt be NC-17 because there are much more sexual and disturbing pictures than Bent which are rated only R.
The movie itself is a very emotional and tragic story, my favourites parts are when they are touching without touch. Very sincere romance and heartbreaking picture. Loved the both actors and the atmosphere with scenery was great too. I recommend to everyone

This movie is just so sublime and powerful... great acting, music and a compelling, intense story. I just love it.
I think this movie is necessary because it shows what we (Im gay) went through, and that it was just as bad for us as it was for the Jews and the Communists and everyone else the Nazis didnt agree with. If anything, for me this is a movie showcasing the very best and worst of Human nature.

I guess the compensations and sanctions imposed on the country at the WWI left the country in recession, driving the people to look for an alternative government. And that happened to be Hitler. I just watched this through Netflix ordering. This is a movie where I can only watch 1 time and I wanted to cut it off since it is torturing or tormenting... 5 stars in my book... It's mostly NC-17 cuz of the first 20 minutes of the movie. It shows all the decadence and sex that was happening in Berlin in the early 30s. There's a lot of nudity and simulated sex. I don't think it was like gratuitous though. they depicted it that way to show how decadent Berlin was. it's a great movie! u should see it

I think it shouldnt be NC-17 because there are much more sexual and disturbing pictures than Bent which are rated only R.
The movie itself is a very emotional and tragic story, my favourites parts are when they are touching without touch. Very sincere romance and heartbreaking picture. Loved the both actors and the atmosphere with scenery was great too. I recommend to everyone
