I remember they used to play the WASP Demo at the Troubador in between bands before WASP was signed. I remember being disappointed with the first album as it didn't capture how WASP sounded at "The Troub" as well as the demo did.

Yep! That's me on bass, those are my bass tracks all right. My copy of this demo was stolen many years ago. We recorded this live 3-track in Randy Piper's old rehearsal studio in Buena Park, CA. It was an all-night recording session. My first recording in Ca, after I came out from NY/NJ in 1982. Chris Holmes was not a member of Sister. I joined while it was still called Sister, and Randy Piper was playing l. guitar. Blackie played rhythm guitar. Thanks 4 posting this.

@glamdog69 My Pleasure Glamdog69. Blackie is a master at also creating media hype, so they invented a plausible story as to how he found Chris Holmes. Maybe Chris did put an ad in a porn magazine, but then, 'why' put a guitar ad in a porn magazine?!? Doesn't make sense, right? I don't remember exactly where and how he found Chris I was out of the band by then. Chris is a nice guy and didn't deserve the eventual treatment he got from B.L.
@SulimaKnight Hey man, so cool to see you posting. I am a huge WASP and Steeler fan, and I must say, you're a pretty fucking monstrous bassist, exceptionally underrated. I think it's cool what you're doing nowadays, too, with your winged hussar group. Keep it up \m/

As for underrated, well again I very much appreciate that compliment it's kind of you, although I know that many would disagree or argue that with you. @pfeltovich Yes, same Rik Fox. And it wasn't 'Malmsteen's' Steeler, it was Ron Keel's band, we were members of it. Hope you like this version of WASP, the first version. pre-live performances. We rocked out while recording this too.

I'm still a fan of my heroes in rock, and fortunately now, friends with many of them. Thanks for the acknowledgment of whatever I was able to bring to the table in the '80's rock scene, I know there are a few out there who would heatedly disagree with you.
