Yes, they demolished the mall because of a copyright claim- the Camelot Music store that used to be there was selling bootleg DVDs, a number of years before the format even existed. ;)
Wow! A commercial announcing the grand opening of Tower Records on Florin? Man, that store used to be my haven when I was a kid. I'd always beg my parents to take me to that Tower store. It was also my first job after graduating high school. Sadly, it is no longer there. It closed in July 2005, and now some dumb sandwich store is there! Long live Tower Records on Florin!
