Heres one example... I think it was 'United Arab Emirates' (pakistan mybe) who tested 3 apc's for their army, on a wide range of critical tests which pushed the subjects to their limits... The APC's were, the American Bradley, British Warrior, and Russian BMP-3... The BMP was massively better than both of the competetors, the Brad showing just how bad it is, top heavy, no armour etc.

so...modifiations and further research has been ongoing..while test machines are being used in varying conditions....from the dessert to the freezing heights..to te damp warzones....

the t-90 is a stand in...india is on the process of being self reliant..so that no sanction can place a hold on its defence capabilties.....

india felt the need to be self reliant after the sanction when it exploded a nuke.

The first batch of 124 tanks has been ordered by the army. The problem is manufacturing it (the Avadi lines are clogged with t-72s being upgraded or overhauled). The other problem is the cost of the tank which is one and a half times what the T-90S costs. The cost is understandable though considering its sheer quality.
