  • holly shiit this bottle very radioactive like Chernobyl graphite !!

this is reason that numbers of cancers increase every year

  • You are checking right near the radioative test source of the meter!!!

  • Hello , yes you are right , I saw that after taking the video but it is just for the fun and you can believe me , the perfum bottle is really radioactive ! , thanks , Fred .

  • @tesla242 The test source will only put out about .3 mr/hr so this perfume bottle is much higher than the test source. Unless he has a new test source.

  • @Calliber50 I don´t know the activity of the CDV check sources, but since his is using not the original probe, the results may be different. Any way, the check sources are in general , DU, so mostly a beta emiter, so I think it didn´t affect tooo much the reading. The yellowish the Uranium glass the higher the activity in my experience.

  • @tesla242 It is funny though, and I was going to comment until I saw your comment. Then I pulled out my CDV-700 and checked what level it reads. Granted the thing is 47 years old now and the half life of the Radium D+E test source is 22 years. The manual says the test source strength would have been 2.0 mr/hr average. Darn thing still works though!

  • Wow thats pretty radioactive for uranium glass.
