I think newer games will always have higher quality and real instruments, but they will never match the music design of the 90's. Music composers im sure were having fun back then making vg music. Now its different, epic, movie-sounding, music thats easily forgettable.
All true you are right. When it comes to video game songs the new titles around are good but not catchy. Anyone can remake anything but the originals are always the best. Taking to thought Streets of Rage or hell the final battle against Mecha Sonic in S3&K How great was that. Don't want to ramble on just wanted to say...
It makes sense. VG developers and artists cant fuck around (experiment) anymore because of skyhigh budgets, producers would not risk their investment on new ideas.
@agetro82 No offense, but your fucking WAY off!! Back then in the 80's and early 90's we had FAR better music and sound! Not only was there a ton of great melodies, but incredible sound quality too!! We were hearing something new with synthesizers, instead of common, worn-out, prehistoric, natural instruments! It was an AWESOME time!!
Now that I heard the whole track this song is my favorite of them all... Well there is Roar of the DD that one is EPIC... So then this is my second fave ^^
This worked a few days ago... what happened?! I'm having the same problem as xXbelmontXx. The video loads, but just won't play. Fix it! So I can hear the glorious first 13 seconds of the song!!! AUGHHH!!!
Hmm....the video isnt working. All your other double dragon arranged songs are fine , but this one just wont work. For some reason when i click on it , its instantly fully loaded , and it wont start playing.
True. The 80s was a mystical decade. And as far as memories go, it will never be forgotten. The least we can hope for is for someone to use 80s influences and take it to the next level.
This is what I say when I whip my dick out.

@Carbon657 It's actually a remix of Mission 1: Into the Turf from Double Dragon II. Mission 2 is The Helipad.

@Chortstuf This song is used for mission one on the NES version but the Arcade version uses it for mission two.
