Also we got a policy to not give out name when some one is charged with something, after all so is the policy innocent until proven otherwise. Now did they toss out the name direct, plus it was the neo liberal/con news papers that is pro war that went out with the "news" first so they had inside info.

@Gripen1974 We didn't have Internet back then so he would have been toast. Now was public reaction strong and ppl question the charges.

So the Chief prosecutor needed to go to work and read through what the prosecutor had done and the chief prosecutor wasn't pleased with the work of the prosecutor and needed to do a retraction. Normally they issue charges during weekends so media will have time to spin a smear campaign and the defended has a hard to reach some one to clear them self
