I'm sorry but this review is just dumb. I've had this phone for 2 years now with no issues. I even went against what Sony Ericsson customer service told me and put in an 8gb memory card, when they said it could only handle 2gb maximum. Well, it did not crash my phone nor slow it down and now I have thousands of songs to listen to whenever. Only a starter phone worthy of a 5 year old? STFU wench! I'm not paying for SE's other overpriced models which have the exact same features as this phone.

i have this phone and itzz quite gd music wise.. i've had it for about 2 years but sometimes the buttons on the front stop workin, but then again im a dropper and it usually starts working afta droppin it again!! =s....HOWEVER i dropped this phone on it's side and first the headphones wouldn't work wen plugged in and now it will not charge at all...which means it died..was a gd phone while it lasted had a lotta probz tho..

well, i've got this one for over 2,5 years and the only thing that happened to my phone was that the battery didn't work. I got a free new one so i don't complain. The gesture control however doesn't work, you've got to wave several times before it works, i use the volume button instead ^^.

It's attempt to replace the legendary W300i results in failure: awful interface, with slowdowns, the OS in the cellphone is different from the one appearing at W302/350, even if the screen resolution is the same, no ability to record videos with that shitty 1.3Mpx camera, Walkman 3.0 is not as good as a Walkman 2.0. The price is the only good thing, apart that it's better than the disastrous Motorola ROKR W5. NOKIA 5300/6131 still keeps being the best one here.

Wow someone should have done their research before posting this review, for a start the lock at the top of the phone is to unlock the media keys on the front and not for the back cover! secondly my w380 does have a dedicated key for accessing the music player and if she had bothered to press the navigational keys on the home screen she would have found out that pressing down accesses the camera!

When opening the back of the phone up you don't need to hold that blue key above the back cover. Thats used to lock the media keys on the front.

...and she put the sim card in wrong. Thats why it scraped the plastic off the front.
