  • The Eagles/ Falcons have a hooked beak that severs the spinal chord of it's prey, be it goats, rabbits, wolves, or deer.

  • lucky that nobody was in my room...just registered my face have to looks like this 8-O

  • Can you look at things objectively? Animals don't live by your religion. They are intelligent enough to know they must eat and for the most part have protein and fat in thier diet. Maybe in the years to come you can convert all the animals to some religion, but at the moment they are too smart for that sort of bullshit.

  • thats it? thats all you show?

  • yes animals are not evil, but only human beings

  • damn now think what an untrained one would or could do to a kid

  • how did you get so close to it?

  • @chexmix1997 its a trained bird

  • @FinalPre

    WHAT?

  • thats no eagle, thats a fucking phoenix

  • The deer was still breathing, but not moving...what happened to it? Paralyzed? Talons crushed spinal cord?

In a way, the golden eagle's prowess shows the superiority of air over ground weaponry. Vision, speed-type things.

  • whoao that was awesome, eagles are really great birds, they are so big and pretty not to speak of how majestic they look while flying!

  • Fatzilla6645... what does your dad's goshawk fly at weight-wise? Is it a Finnish? German? Russian?

My last Red-Tail I flew hunted at 44 to 45 oz, and she brought down the biggest fox squirrels and grey squirrels in fine style.

  • Wow this is pretty amazing lol my last name is adler, it means eagle in german..I just typed my last name on YouTube and I found this video hehe

  • Wahnsinns Aufnahme;...zeugt von der ungeheueren Kraft des Steinadlers!

  • awsome!!! amazing!!!

  • @parquetman i think they try to hit the neck but miss slightly

  • зачет!!!!!!

  • just imagine a human-sized eagle flying right after you with it's door-like sized wings engulfing you...

that's how strong [and scary] they are. (Y)

    langweilig

  • Lol very nice 5*

  • wow !!!

  • no escaping from that thing

  • holy fuck!

  • golden eagle? It is very beautiful.

  • I would just like to respond to all that say, veganism or vegetarianism is stupid or wrong. I myself am a former US Army Ranger and Green Beret, I served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I saw death on a daily basis. I killed only when it was necessary, be it man or animal. I feel it is only right to kill another creature if it is only essential to your survival. Most people are fat slobs who eat meat for the pure enjoyment, they don't need it, they just enjoy eating it.

  • that is bad ass ..... i now love this bird!

before wasnt a big fan on eagles .... preferred falcons and some hawks ... but that was cool!

  • do you think jesus was a vegan?

  • Pervers...

  • why doesnt it attack a humman...?!?!?!

  • I think it's o.k., if the eagle hunts for himself, but it's not o.k., if the eagle hunts for the hunter.

Why do you use an eagle to hunt for you?

And tell me, HOW did the eagle kill the deer?

At the end of the video you can see, that the eagle, who sits on the head of the deer, wants to eat the eye of it. I hope, the deer was dead!

  • Man has used falconry for centuries to hunt, these people cant just pop down the convenience store like u and hand over money for their meat, NO the have to work for it, hunt and kill, man has used other animals in pursuit of food and will continue to do so, by the way, the eagle probably gets well cared for too!

  • @phoenix1916

Man has used slaves for centuries and women had no rights in former times. That's different today.

I don't eat any meat, I'm a vegan. So I don't buy meat or ohter animal products.

Humans can decide what to eat - eagles not.

So you don't NEED to kill with an eagle (gun or bow). And it's more healthy to eat plants too.

Hunters have FUN to kill animas - with guns, bows or even eagles.

  • Not fun!! there is an end product which is meat, which we eat, u and ur vegans are an insignificant minority, if i wanna eat meat so be, it took us thousands of years to reach apex pred so be glad man is where he/she is or u would be taking ur chanes in some cave against a very large carnivore, maybe thats suits u sir??? but NOT me!!

  • Judging by ur INANE comments i say it is ESSENTIAL that everyone eats meat, god forbid we end up like u???

  • @phoenix1916

I see, you know nothing about diet.

It would be better, you inform yourself about that topic, before you say something stupid.

  • @natija08

Actually it IS necessary for us to eat meat. We need protein to live. Vegans/Vegetarians have to take protein supplements or eat lots of soy products to make up for the lack of meat in their diet. SOME people dont like to live like that and actually like the taste of meat, so let them do what they want. It doesnt affect your tree-hugging ass.

  • @cameltoejoe

We need protein, thats' right. But you find much protein in pulses, nuts, potatoes, grain and many other plants. Please google it, you will see, that I'm right. It's not even necessary to eat tofu all the time. The only thing I supplement is vitamin b12. I decided to live as a vegan because I don't want an animal to suffer for me. I love animals.

P.S.: You should be grateful to the trees. They produce the oxygen you breathe!

  • @natija08

You still need iron in ur diet and red meat is a GREAT source of iron, but so are other meats.

As for trees, they should be thankful for me because I produce the CO2 that they need to photosynthesize their energy.

I was born with canine teeth for a reason. I eat meat. Other people enjoy their meat. Your welcome to your beliefs but you shouldnt tell other people how to live.

  • @cameltoejoe69

Some plants are a good source of iron too.

A world without trees is a very sad world. Trees carry different fruit like apples or nuts, they are home for many animals and last but not least they are very beautiful. I love trees.

Do you think your small canine teeth are for catching an animal to eat it or tearing it into pieces?

Gorillas have much bigger canine teeth - but they don't eat any meat.

  • @natija08

They're for tearing into it of course.

  • @natija08 The human body evolved differently than those of other apes, humans have a shorter digestive tract than mammalian herbivores but a longer one than carnivores. If humans evolved to be strictly vegetarians, we would have a better specialized colon and stomach without generalized pH. Chimps, which are more closely related to humans than gorillas in the evolutionary line, are also omnivores and have a troop hunting culture similar to early humans.

  • Don't forget the plankton! They supply the largest part if I remember my elementry school days.

  • Thank you for the hint, hellerZauberer.

  • in fact eagles are very well managed and attended... they are part of the family and comunity. and utilitary/sportive hunt is not un ethycal at all.

  • cool vid. when it comes to birds of prey it is not even about which one is the strongest. they each carry a different purpose on earth that is beyond our current knowledge of them. all people know is their living and behavior. what people dont know is their purpose and how they are connected with us. which is the most important thing above all else. we all live on the same planet and they are just as equal as us. except they are above us in many ways.

  • No.

  • that is right, but only for you ;)

  • hahahahahaha super eagle!!!!

  • i've even seen an eagle killing an adult wolf!

  • where?

  • on a documentation about an "eagle hunter" (on tv). think it was in mongolia... but not sure about that.

  • Thank you . I found it on youtube. Was shocked actually :)

  • unbelievable right? ^^

can you give me the link? i'd love to see it again.

  • oh... never mind. i've found exactly the documentary i was talking about ^^

    /watch?v=8iiTY4RIZ0Q&feature=related

...for everyone who wants to see an eagle killing a wolf!

  • omg awsom

    whats the strongest bird?

  • correct me if im wrong but i think it is the harpy eagle

  • You're wrong. Looks like a Golden Eagle or possibly an Imperial Eagle although I doubt an Imperial would be strong enough to take down a deer.

  • Yah i noticed after watchin the full vid srry

  • I love that sound!

  • The bald eagle is a kleptoparasite. In reality, it usually steals fish from ospreys. Perfect symbol, eh?

  • that is one impressive imperial eagle..

  • Man. Just a fascinating creature. I liked that sound off it made after being praised.

  • It's not the eagle, who is evil ...

  • whats that, a real pokemon ?

  • and that ladies and gentlemen is the American symbol

  • Um...not really. The American symbol is a bald eagle. But...what of it? Don't believe the propaganda you read... the US kept the rest of the world safe more often than not.... now that Obama's in power and are "claws" have been pulled, the terrorists will have a field day.

  • ummmmz i am not american but thats not the american symbol its a bold eagle

  • Yeah that is a Golden Eagle not a Bald Eagle and it's nature. Maybe the US should have picked something nice and fluffy for you that munches on grass? I think not.

  • thats a gold eagle, bald eagles are our national symbol. and balds arent used for falconry, they are too wild in nature.

  • I was amazed, until I heard it's sound!

that was too gay for an eagle.

  • what did you expect it to sound like, a lion's growl?...all raptors have a screechy sounding call some screechy like that, some raspy, and some squealing but nothing else.

  • Is he going to eat all that deer? pig..

  • looks like a hare fo me?

  • whooooooooooooooo

  • That is one beautiful bird

  • funny video lets chat

i cant watch this video m5

  • energetic fun smart and loves this video

    comment me back 2e

  • Omg how big do they get?

  • Magnificent and powerful bird!

  • Excellent...

  • they are killed the deer, for the eagle !!!

    but very strong

  • nwn Hee. Sounds like a seagull.

  • NICE ACTION...

  • eagles are used in south pakistan, they are trained to hunt in a pack format .pends what u are hunting can be from 2 to 4 eagles. they hunt deer usually. never wolf or fox or anything we as hunters cant/wont eat

  • its called falconry you use eagles or hawks to hunt and KILL for you then it gives you the kill and you give it a treat for the work

  • have u ever seen the claws of an eagle? this bird wont need help to get this deer down boi

  • that is crazy how long have you had it

  • eagle kill wolf look it out on youtube ;)

  • Um dude.....they are very strong....it really dosent matter your size...My dad has a goshawk and he takes on wolfs and coyotes... and thoes are small compared to eagles...Birds are much mroe amazing then you think, open your eyes and look and the world in a diffrent view

  • Dum fuk? I think your the dumb fuck with your poor spelling and choice of grammar. Grow up faggot and get out from under that rock you were in, those goshawks are strong enough to hunt a wolf or coyote.

  • but a golden eagle could easily take them down

  • An eagle could kill a wolf. There are several videos on youtube showing this. I didn't believe it at first, but... Damn.

  • small wolves

  • Still it's a goddamn wolf. I never said they could take down a timber wolf.

  • semantics

most people are arguing that eagles cannot catch a 100lbs plus wolf. Not a 35lbs coyote equivalent....

wild eagles don't attack wild adult wolves. btw-its falconry trained birds that take such risk...

  • FAAKEE. At the start of the video, if you play it full screen and slowly, you can see they are just rabbits. Then the up-close shot is of the eagle on a deer, which is set up.

  • you obviously don't know anything about golden eagles.

  • you are a fucking looser. watch it properly and then look at some pictures of a golden eagle. then you'll see how they can take smaller deer.

  • i work with gold eagles, and yes they can take down small-medium sized deer. its not fake.

  • @lwward Have you seen the Golden Eagles from Monolgia who hunts Wolves ?

    That is really cool.

  • @lwward

"its fake because its not wild, they train it to kill"

  • @kuwaizair man you are retarded read your post again. it is so hard to fhantom that an eagle can take down a deer.

  • @lwward What you're saying may be true but the vid is fake. Those are defintely rabbits. Pause at three or four seconds and you can see how they leap and how long their ears are. Also in the end the tail and coloration is not that of a deer as much as a jakrabbit. The man's arm in the vid is way too proportionately large.

  • @TheMrplayitsafe If those are rabbits, then they're genetically engineered super giant alien rabbits. Golden eagles have a wing span of 3 meters (that's 6 feet). That "rabbit" probably weighs 60-70 pounds and stands about 3 feet tall.

  • @lwward

    whats with a grande?

  • woah what kind of eagle is that?

  • It´s a golden eagle.

  • oh i see that now

    was it an adolecent?

  • wicked.........

  • who cares what it is!!!!, that was great!!!, real hunters use what they are given as hunting tools, unfortunatly humans are so lazy we developed cheats to kill animals. because we really are the weakest species on the planet.

  • not bad

  • HOLY s*it Those eagles are very powerful!

    RESPECT TO BROWN EAGLES.

  • those eagles r trained to kill!!!

they can't kill those animals in real nature!!!!!!!!

  • bullshit

fully-grown eagles have been recorded taking down small deer, coyotes, even wolves

don't underestimate how powerful they are

  • ya but it may be hard to kill a wolf but they do. one of my family mebers shot something about to kill an injured eagle. i dont know what type of eagle or the thing about to kill it. i wonder if it was a big cat? dunno were he was but he illegally kept the eagle =P. we call him tinky. looks like the one in the video. so it might be a golden. idc. its just cool

  • yeh and the rest you silly fuck they do this all the time

  • that wasn't a deer..

that is a smaller member of the deer family and I don't know the translation in English.

    In Dutch it's: 'Ree'

    In German it's: 'Reh'

  • no its a roe deer and its like that in german and duch

  • wish i could go on a hutn like that but dont think they would allow it over here in uk.

  • I had a FHH that took down a roe deer, admittedly it wasnt a big one tho. She was most pi55ed off to be taken off it!

  • yes you can i have 4 hawks and 2 falcons and i hunt with all of them

  • oh really thats great! ive only been once years ago in Pakistan but thats when i was 17 with my cousin. we hunted partridge and desert hare

  • I love Eagles

  • Thats freakin awesome! Eagles rule!

  • LOL, "Holy shit guys! I just took down a deer, look at it!"

  • there are clips even here on youtube of Eagles taking down wolfs! :)

  • An eagle grabbed my brother and flew away with him while he was playing in the yard :(

  • and the clips of eagles taking wolfs are fake. Give me a break. Golden eagles weigh 5KG (12 lb) MAXIMUM. How can a creature that size kill a 50 lb (very small) wolf?!

  • Very true in my home town Verbicaro, Italy i found a Wolf in the mountain..... i shot it with a tranquilizer and i weighed it..... guess how much it weighed..... 186 POUNDS an Eagle could barely push it over.....

  • awesome bird!

  • I bet in english the eagle is saying "PWNED N00B, I'M a L33T HAXOR!!!!!"

  • NO eagle could eat me.

    Mr.Gwinnett

  • Ok guys..to solve that riddle finally: Is a deer, more precise a roe deer!!

    Wmh L

  • LOl stupido

  • very glad that they dont see people as food, if it can catch a deer, it can catch a person, with ease.

  • yup......i love that cute sound it makes at the end

  • no.

  • cool

  • If you would have read the article in Time or National Geographic you would know that the giant rabbits can't even walk, let alone escape from a Golden Eagle.

    It's a deer.

  • That's definately NOT a rabbit. It's a deer. I know, I hunt deer. The ones in Germany might be smaller, depending on the species. But that is a deer.

  • you must be a blind hunter then. View the video full screen and slow it down!

  • I have viewed it full screen. And I stand by my comments. Look at the legs at the end of the video, those are the legs of a deer.

  • that was a small deer. Deer come in a variety of sizes people!

  • that's not a deer, it's a rabbit

  • Well, I can tell you that that's a golden eagle next to it, so if "that's not a deer, it's a rabbit", then that's the biggest damn rabbit I've seen. well done.

  • They really are... they are those HUGE ass German rabbits (forgive me that I cannot remember exactly what they are called), but they are enormous! If you watch the first frame where they are flushed out of hiding, you'll see their big, long rabbit ears.

  • If you google "largest rabbit" and then go to the link from:news(dot)bbc(dot)co(dot)uk It'll tell you that these "german giants" do not live in the wild.

I think this is what you are talking about, but you'll notice that it says that they don't live in the wild. It is very easy for a golden eagle to bag a deer...

  • Yeah... I'm pretty impressed either way. It just looked like a rabbit to me.

  • that's a deer neck not rabbit ears...
