@F4LL3NxG4M3R agreed, i got hit by the X26 for my cert. and it felt like it was forever before it quit, but you know what i wouldn't ever want to resist after that, and if i were to resist and not be tased i would probably continue to hurt because of trying to break free and straining joints and muscles, I think tasers are actually one of the best less than lethal tools out there

while they do sell a civilian version, the x26c or the C2, you still need to check your local state laws, for example here in Michigan it is a felony to own a weapon that fires a direct current of electricity, making the x26 or any other type of taser that fires barbs illegal. But a normal stun gun is ok.

@T08Y232 yes, it's called "dry tazing" where you use it more as a stun gun by just placing it to the chest of a person and pulling the trigger. The best way to be effective is to shoot someone in the chest with it, then dry taze them in the leg, that way it travels all the way from their leg to the prongs in their chest, making it seem stronger.

No it's not. However, if the barbs are still in the person you can give them another charge. The replacements cost about 15 bucks. One thing to not, not all taser systems are the same. The X26 is by far the best system that Taser international makes replacing the M26
