DeLois made 84 past march , Billie Barrett Greenbey 82 and Rodessa Barrett Porter 80. Please keep these Sisters in your prayers

Praise GOD for them all because they didn't even have to respond to my first letter...but yet they responded to all of them. They are one group that should have been recognized by the Gospel Industry and was not. What a shame because the Annointing that is upon the Barrett Sisters is unlike no other...

I almost shared a "stage" with Delois in '83. We were going to sing for Wayne Wilcots' birthday in LA at Biship O'Neill's. He had to go in the hospital, though, in Buffalo. The gala was cancelled, and Delois didn't come, of course. I went to him anyway.

One of those Barrett sisters was confined to a wheelchair but she was singing praises to her God! If she can in that condition, why can't the rest of us. I thank these ladies who toured Suva, Fiji, way back in 1986. I remember that song, Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus, which they sang on that performance and it has remained with me.

They are still singing in the Chicago area and I imagine they still travel if they were to be invited somewhere. Delois just turned 81 last year and she has been in the wheelchair for at least about 10 years now because of severe arthritis in her knees. They are legends in their own right...God Bless them!!!
