I liked the Mercurys that had a rear window that was able to roll down...I think it was called the Breezeway or something...A neighbor across the street had one in the early 1960's
@nightiscoming2 Mercury had the Breezeway rear window in 57-58 and 63-66. I have a 65 Merc Breezeway great ventelation with the rear window open and the underdash vents open.
@cheddyrod Hey, Chester! Yeah, I like that aircraft type setup! I checked about that Mercomatic...it could start in low if accelerated hard, but normally started in intermediate and went to high gear...so there could be some debate as to whether it was a two speed or three speed. If driven aggressively, or if the shifter were put into L, and then D, it would be a three speed. Thanks for the question! :) Jack
