To many people think that if the bull isnt well known it shouldnt be a high score. Look at the PBR,most of the short go bulls dont buck no better than the regular round bulls yet they get scores 2-4 points higher every time just cuz of their name.

I dont think anybody here realises how you score a bullride. Its the ability of the bull and how good the rider does. He stayed right in the middle and never got out of position and that bull was spinning faster than a top. That was a hell of a ride.

bs this was max a 91 in prca normal scoring an 88 in PBR so id say there was some cash changing hands on that ride

LMAO! Nan, this was a PODUNK rodeo, last leg for points into S.F. before finals. Nobody knew what Cowboys were showing up, Wade was not a "chosen" 1 in PRCA. So, who would exchange $ to create the first and only 100 point ride?! Wade was a damn good hand run'n on pocket change and 2 day old coffee. He EARNED this ride. It is HISTORY and only gunsels comment to the contrary trying to rob a hard working Cowboy. EVERY Cowboy/girl has dreamed of scoring the 1st 100 pt. Get over it..

@documentarist100 good ride but myself as a judge rider and contractor would only score im 88 which is good on a bull like tthat. the bull was a flat spinner fast but flatas a pancake and I could see no outside leg movement. he was stuck on there like glue but ive seen better its impossible to have a perfectly scored bull. much more likely would be the rider beu hed have to be pullin some chris shivers which he was not I had the pleasure to be at justin mcbride vs voodoo child an that was a ...

@documentarist100 better ride that scored a 94.5 this was not a true 100 pt ride. he paid the judges for the score or the PRCA wanted to be able to say they had the only 100 pt ride either way good ride but not a 100 ptr

Score are all opinionated by the judges. Anyone could get a 100 point ride if the bull kicked enough and the rider did his job good. But hats off to him for pulling it off.

@33rebelcowboy HA HA Funny guy :-) I was there, filmed it, and at least 100 friends saw it from 360 degrees combined. You are one of a very few to EVER say he touched besides a few culls right after it happened. Dunn, Ty, Cody.. and many more WORLD CLASS cowboys were there right on the chute and NOT one saw a touch. Get over it, Wade has the HIGHEST score in Pro Rodeo history. Hit that pipe again pard, you might see a pink elephant making out with Elvis somewhere in that footage as well LMAO!

that was a great hell of a ride. but wasnt no 100. the record is like a 97 or 98. never been higher. im not dowting that bein a great ride. thats about as perfect as it gets in bullriding. but as of right now a 100 is impossible. the bulls are gettin ranker in the new generations cuz the way there bread so its gettin harder but closer to that score.

There is no such thing as a perfect ride. Although WOLFMAN was a bucking dude he doesnt compare to bulls like PROMISE LAND, LITTLE YJ,and bulls of that size.

Ty Murray said that bull never bucked better than a 94. He should know he rode for a 94 one time. Record books say 100 points is the world record bull ride. Im sticking with Denny Flynn's 98 point ride on Red Lighting, less than a year after Don Gay's 97 point ride on Oscar at NFR. Those two rides were judged by the same two judges. Lyle Sankey and Butch Kirby. Retired bullriders and stockmen. More legit than the 100 pointer in my opinion.

You must have been at the C.P. rodeo the night of the 100 point ride. I filmed it and until I reviewed the tape I thought Troy Dunn was the one that scored the perfect ride. Interesting topic and responses :-)
