@ethanb09 a bigger cam gives you hp and torque advantage, if you got a bigger cam installed in your car, yes your car would be faster but i would be recommended to upgrade your gears to get more out of your cam and motor. My old 89 Mustang 5.0 had a upgraded cam that brought my 302 over and bored it .40 to a 306, then I had 4:10 gears installed which are best used when at the track because 4:10's are meant for acceleration, not top end as where 3:73's are better for top end speed.

it sounds great when you get on the revs but at idle it's lacking a "deepness" to it, it sounds kinda crackly. but that's just my opinion. other than that i love it. :)

@NitroGadvRules please check the fastest ss time, its in the 12.5s, new 5.0 is 12.4s, camaro is not that much slower than the 5.0, unlike the challenger, just need a good driver. ls motors just sound better in my opinion tho, and you can get alot more power out of them all motor, the 5.0 will need induction to push the same power, but still is a good car

Man, I gotta tell ya.. I've been a life long 5-liter fan and would've sworn nothing sounds better than a 302 with long tubes and some Bassani's but you guys have it down. @Mikeybpimpin yea those numbers are off dude, idk where you heard them but their wrong...I'm not saying anything bad about camaro's or nothing cuz a muscle car is a muscle car but as far as speed goes, 0-60 for the 5.0 mustang is 4.3 sec and 2010 camaro is only 4.5 sec

@dberls1motor highly unlikely since the test was done by moter trend drivers soooo i doubt it was the driver's fault!! also I got the numbers wrong so my bad it's the 2010 camaro 1/4 mile 13.1 sec 0-60 4.7 sec and 2011 mustang gt 1/4 mile 12.7 sec 0-60 4.4 sec....again I'm not bashing the camaro cuz if i had the option to get the 2010 camaro besides what I have than hell yea I'll take it cuz I'm a muscle car lover even though i prefer mustang I'll take a muscle car any day over a tuner

@Swflann the hell with motor trend. they are biased when it comes to camaro. first they say the camaro does it in 12.9 and now they say like 13.1. i have all of the motor trend editions on the new camaro and they are full of it.

@NitroGadvRules please check the fastest ss time, its in the 12.5s, new 5.0 is 12.4s, camaro is not that much slower than the 5.0, unlike the challenger, just need a good driver. ls motors just sound better in my opinion tho, and you can get alot more power out of them all motor, the 5.0 will need induction to push the same power, but still is a good car
