  • I loved this when i was a kid :D i still love it

  • The 6 Dislikes are probably Iluminati! or

  • 6 DISLIKES? HOW DO U DISLIKE THIS?

  • @ChibiBijou Oh my god, same here. My sister and I have been walking around going "UNBEEEELIEVABLE!" all week

  • i'm so glad i found this video. i haven't seen it since it came on tv after saturday morning cartoons back in 1992.

  • I'm 25 and I use to watch this tape all the time growing up

  • Petey: UN-BE-LEEEEVABLE!

    Naruto: Believe it!

  • I've been searching for these since like forever. Started crying when it played, havent heard these songs in 15 or so years and I remember every song like it was yesterday! =)

  • I have download this from somewere but your version is better quality.

  • 6 people didn't follow the love light now that is just sad :l

  • awww I remember this!!!

  • I used to LOVE this video when I was a little kid. When I watched it, I realized I still knew ALL the songs :) It's UNBEEEELIEVABLE :D

  • wah? the bible was written by furries?! xD

  • @Broockle No. This just featured anthropomorphic animals in order to make this special fun.

  • UNBEEEEEEELLLIEVABLE. Ex-cuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!

  • This brings back memories for me. I was one of the layout artists on this film working for Rick Reinert Pictures from the fall of 1988 to the spring of 1989. Rick was a super nice man to work for. He and his right hand man Dave Bennett were excellent artists and they inspired me to work harder to improve my own drawings. I really miss the old studios like Rick's.

  • i remember seeing this when i was a kid, i still like to see it, good music.

  • Man..I used to watch this when I was little like 3 times a day.

    :D

  • I still like this movie a little-

  • THIS IS THE ONE! This is the Special that I was looking for.

    Thanks

  • aww i used to love this movie! :D

  • YOU wouldn't understand. understand what? that the little girl believes her animals come to life? that you guys are pretending the ten commandments are some 1950s rock and roll songs? or that your tricking osborn into religion with your "contest"? yes im sure if he was Cristian he would understand....

  • I never leave comments on Youtube, but I have to say thank you!!! This individual movie brings back memories of when I was a kid and things weren't so complicated. I'm downloading it so I can put it on a DVD and show it to my nephews. I really, really appreciate this upload more than anything else on youtube. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Didn't Mayim Bialik (the girl who voiced Petey) play Bette Midler's character as a child in the same movie with the song "Wind Beneath My Wings", titled "Beaches"?

  • I wonder if there are any parents today who loved this special when they were kids (little kids, preferably) sharing it with their kids.

  • Ironic since Tonny Orlando lead and all those top ten countdowns in the 80s and now leads the info mericals for them

  • Would self-invitations be breaking Top Ten #8?

  • Unbelieeeeeeevable!

  • ohmygosh. i haven't seen this since i was 5. everyday in kindergarten i asked my teacher if i could take this home and watch it and i did pretty much everyday. it was my FAVORITE movie back then. ohhh good times :')

  • @RMLRML1010

funny thats the last time i saw it too

  • I assume that was Essie singing the beginning and ending credits version of "Following the Love Light".

  • "Don't you go stealin' around here!"

I have no idea why but that makes me giggle overtime.

  • @ChaoticVideoCrazy

i think its mocking when someone knocks on a door with that old

bu da da da da-- da da!

  • wow i found it i grew up watchin this movie good times. they dnt make it like this ne more

  • See how it shines, how it shines around you

Keeping you safe in its glow.

Light from above, the life has found you.

    Guards you wherever you go.

Following the Love Light, let the Love Light lead.

Following the Love Light, you'll find everything you need.

  • A rainbow road, a multicolored highway that curls and curves to the sky.

Following the Love Light, let the Love Light lead.

Following the Love Light, you'll find everything you need.

Now, look straight ahead to a bright tomorrow.

Not to the left or right.

Stay on the light and you won't know sorrow.

Don't let it out of your sight.

Following the Love Light, let the Love Light lead.

Following the Love Light, you'll find everything you need.

  • I watched this when i was little.. love it.. I still have the recording on vhs and im playing it for my little ones now. Wish I could find it on dvd

  • @chiriqui88 Speaking of which, was this special closed-captioned?

  • Comment removed

  • May Billy Preston (Marvelous Mose) rest in peace.

  • Who's singing the beginning version of "Following The Love Light", and I mean at 2:35. Is it the same one who voiced Essie?

  • OMG i used to watch this all the time when i was little. I was tryin to find the vidoe for my little boy. Does anyone know where i can buy it

  • simple awesome!!! How I've missed this biblical cartoon!! UN-believable LOL :D Do you know where to get this in DVD (if it exists)??? thanks for this awesome post! :D

  • HEY OSBORNE'S VOICE ACTOR IS SCOTT MENVILLE.

    FROM TALES OF SYMPHONIA.

    AND TEEN TITANS.

Wow, he's been around for a while.

  • @QuestAccount Oh? Who'd he act in Tales of Symphonia? :O

  • @Blueoriontiger

    Lloyd Irving! :D

And he was Robin in Teen Titans, but Tales of Symphonia is cooler

  • I am so in love with this movie! It's ironic, because I am an atheist and I remember watching this as a child and not really full investing myself in the idea prescribed but loving the movie anyway because it was so cool.

  • I cant stand you people that post negative comments heck let me treasure my childhood memories without hearing bullcrap about the videos why ya look at it!!! things like this should disable posting

  • i love this! thank you so much for uplaoding it! :D i used to watch this and psatlys songs for little praisers non stop! (: ahhhh! i love it. THANK YOU!!!!

  • i loved this when I was little, but back then I had no idea this was church material... they got me with the catchy songs!!!

  • I love you!! This was such a big part of my childhood... Thanks for uploading!! XD

  • OH MY GOD!

I totally did not think this would be on youtube, i used to watch this ALL THE TIME when i was little!!!

  • lol about 2 yrs ago i thought about putting this up on YouTube but put it off. now i see someone else did, good job lol

  • 2:27 - Wow, this right hurr makes the Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Teddy Ruxbin seem masculine. I know churchies thought they were making something good and by that I mean something to make their kids stfu for about 94 minutes, but wow... this is gheyer than I am. And why's the kid keep saying "unblieeeeeevable?" He's not only a wrapped in rainbow homo, he's an atheist! Quick, someone get some rope and a stake and call Fred Phelps! =P

  • I didn't think I remembered this, but the second I heard UNBELIEVABLE i just about gagged. Nostalgia attack.

  • To quote the Princess Bride:

    PETEY: "Unbeeeeeliavable!

INIGO: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  • if he says unbelievable once again I'm gonna tear my hear off

  • ahhh! thank you sooo much for posting this! I remember watching this OVER AND OVER when i was a kid! Me and my brother LOVED this!

  • I grew up watchin this when i was a lil gurl im 23 now i love this so much somebody stole mines thank you for uploading this God bless you i almost cried when i ran across this

  • @Godsdancingbeauty same here! I'm 22 now and I can't believe i found this! It's crazy how something you grew up on as a kid can bring back soo many memories.

  • As much as PB annoys me, I cant help but see how crappy cartoons now days are compared to this. This is actually quality animation.

    >:O if PB says "UNBELIEVABLE" one more time I swear...

  • i havent watched this since i was 4!

  • UNBELIEVEABLE!!! D:

  • Someone hand this kid a copy of the Bible so he can say it's UN-BEEEEELIEVABLE

  • If that fucking kid says "unbelievable" one more time, I'm going out, buying a Bible, and burning it right then and there, just on principle.

  • I love how forcingly they tried to make "UNBELIIIEVABLE" a catch phrase...

  • These videos are unbeLIIIIVable.

  • juj, nagyon szerettem ezt a mesét!!!! 5-6évesen láttam utoljára!!!:D (most 19 vagyok)

    i love this story!

  • Live action and animation don't mix.

  • i always thought the tiger was so cooooool

  • ...This must be an American thing, because I swear I never saw this as a kid; but damn is it cheesy XD

  • Man! These were the days. Too bad they don't make shows like this anymore. Why would ABC discontinued something this decent?

  • I half expected him to say, "SHIT! A LION! GET IN THE CAR!" when he saw Christopher. xD

  • the first top ten was zepplien, hendrix, sabbath, skinard, ac/dc, aerosmith, pink floyd, alice cooper, stones and blue oyster cult (not in that order)

  • This is totally not the same art style as the first film.

  • Wait, this was on ABC? Not CBN or direct-to-christian-video-store? My mind is blown.

  • Ah, what a great cartoon! This is one we watched over and over as kids. One of the best-looking Christian cartoons I can remember.

Incidentally, we made fun of Petey's "Unbelievable!" back then too. It's supposed to be goofy; kinda like The Princess Bride's "inconceivable!"

  • i grew up on this - love it

  • I can't thank you enough for posting this!! This was one of my favorite videos when I was younger!!

  • I once was told to follow the Love Light. Then I realised that it was just a gloryhole.

  • UNBELIEEEEEEEEEEEEEVABLE

  • The possible cosmology scenarios are endlessly alarming. Biblical figures were animals? How does this relate to 'God Created Man in his Own Image' Are the animal people without original sin? Did Christ die only for humans? etc.

  • Of course the girl would have a subordinate role, only the boys get to compete!

  • @Sinoque0aka0Stephen Well thats kuz she already knows them all and the guys are evil and need too be punished through songs from furry critters. lol

  • Haha, funny story about this is that my sister was looking on amazon for an original vhs copy. There was one available at the time, priced at 60$!!! LOL. She still purchased it.

  • So did this come before or after the Little David's Adventure show?

  • @wolfking222 After. This was released in 1992, and "Little David's Adventure", somewhere in the '80s.

  • @KBAFourthtime That was in 1986.

  • Seems like something Ned Flanders would make xD

  • OMG I'm obsessed with this movie.

  • "Un-be-LEEEV-able!" The alternate universe version of "Believe it!"

  • This video made me gay

  • JESUS CHRIST it's a LION get in the car LOL

  • The red-haired boy has such an annoying way of saying 'unbelievable,' it makes me wanna throw together a montage of him saying 'UNbeliiiIIVEABLE!' while Naruto replies: 'BELIEVE IT!'

  • @SquallAKALeon omg I loled when I read that xD it's so true! And this thing is so sugarsweet that sugar seems bitter ;o

  • Why isnt "Un-be-LEEEV-able!" a meme by now?

  • @OutlawOrange un-be-leeev-able! that it isn't

  • also when the "bad" non cristian questioned what the bible was i face-palmed everyone knows what the bible is because we never stop hearing about the f-ing thing! hell by this point even hindus can tell you the ten commandments. seriously

  • oh damn that guy says unbelievable like 4 times in the first 2:30. how come everyone in cristian cartoons who isn't cristian is a horrible person or "wrong"? some of the nastiest people ive met have been cristian and felt they could do no wrong. seriously naming the lion cristopher as in crist as in cristian is kind of un-original.

  • Not even Naruto would believe this.

Anyway, good to see it--I had very, very vague memories of this, so it's good to know I wasn't just imagining it O.o Nine years of religious school, all of the religious cartoons they show you really begin to blend together after a while.

  • Hmmmm, wouldn't uploading this technically be considered stealing based on these commandments?

  • @catzeyes919 I was thinking the same thing!

  • im like 23 & i just found the original vhs tape in my basement. im friend & i still remeber thoise damn songs. its sad really

  • my grandparents had this, it reminds me of them <3

  • @MOMORPIGER maybe your parents should have shown this too u as a kid! It was epic back in my day!

  • @mobilehobo2 No my parents didn't like forcing me to watch creepy bullshit about religion. Also religion is bullshit.

  • The lion and tiger are super cute!

There must have been some kids who watched this that later grew up to be furries. ;3

  • @Liontaryist Yep!!

  • @Liontaryist Absolutely.

  • @Liontaryist I did. o3o

  • @Liontaryist - Yeah... Furry Xtians, which would make them even more conflicted and messed up, lulz. And I remember watching this when ABC still had those "Captain O.G. Readmore" segments.

  • @Liontaryist This wasn't intended to make kids grow up to be furries. It's meant to put fun in teaching the Ten Commandments to kids.

  • I'm 20 years old and my siblings and me still quote/talk about this movie. I still use this movie to help me remember the Ten Commandments, LOL!

  • Ugh, the fundamentalism... It hurts my brain! x.x

  • Christ is the lion of the tribe of Judah. Christ says that the law should be in our inward parts. That is what is meant by the law being in your heart. When that law is there whoever will be good to their neighbor. Wise, harmless, a teller of the truth, and not a teller of a lie, forgiveness 7x70, mercy, portraying the 9 fruits of the spirit, Galatians 5:22;23, and even loving ones enemies to pour hot coals on their heads insomuch that whoever will not have any enemies to love.

  • unnnnnnnnbelively gay.

  • Got this for my youngest grandson. Teaches Hope and Great Values!!! Thanx so much

  • thank you i have been really wanting to see this i watched some much it wore out

  • thank you! I`ve been waiting this for ages!!

  • I've been waiting patiently for this, and now it's finally here! Thanks so much! I haven't seen this cartoon in more than ten years, it's so great that it should be re-broadcast just because of it's simple method of teaching the ten commandments.

BTW, to correct your description, this didn't come out in the '80s, it actually came out in 1990. I know this because I still have the audio cassette from this special and it had that as the copyright year.

  • If that's so, care to rip the Original Top Ten cassette into MP3 format for all of us to hear?

  • wow!!!!

you're the best!!! I'm amazed to see this cartoon again!!! thank you sooooooooo much 4 sharing!
