hey you posted this as a video response to my clip :) - this is great ! , i heard those thunderstorms down in melbourne were ferocious , wish i could have experienced it , forecasters were saying that this was like a once a century storm , looks pretty wild !!

These idiots in the storm water can get sucked down storm drains. People driving around like nothing has happened need their heads read, at least charged with dangerous driving or something. (i do not care what happens to a fool, but they might hurt someone)

I guess at least the drains are all flushed out now.

Cars were floating down Elizabeth st in the Melb city in the early 70's, all trains stopped out of Flinders st due to massive flooding, this 2010 storm was big, but nothing on that 70's storm.

Dead right, i remember it well, even places like Diamond Creek in Melbourne's east had 30ft / 10m of water rise in the creek, it was insane.

All around Melbourne creeks over-ran their banks, becoming broad rivers, and the Yarra was lethal, it looked like the Ausable Chasm, it was really full on.
