I just received my textbook list...3 of my books can be downloaded via KF. I could save 438.00 in books. As a full time displaced trade agreement act worker THAT KF would be a blessing. So many things I can use it for. I am subscribed to all 4 of you guys.

I'm not asking for the kindle fire, but I also had death in my family. My Aunt died and she played a big part in all of our lives. We grew up together and she raised me as well so it played a big toll on me and my mother as well as everyone else. And she didn't have a will so stuff went chaotic but we didn't want anything anyway so that's how stuff goes.... But hope you deal well with yours and you read this. :)

Girl..!! I would LOVE The amazon kindle fire because I'm about to start my spring semester and I have so many e-books its not even funny. [See what had happend was..] I gave my husband my laptop so that when he deploys we can stay in contact, and now I'm stuck with a desktop. My mother and father are avid readers who loves books dearly and of course raised me to love reading as well; however, I saw first hand the difficulty in keeping up a library collection especially when they decided to relocate. Those books caused the most difficulty. As follows, I have built up quite a collection and would like to transfer my love of reading to a Kindle to save those hassles and more. Girl..!! I would LOVE The amazon kindle fire because I'm about to start my spring semester and I have so many e-books its not even funny. [See what had happend was..] I gave my husband my laptop so that when he deploys we can stay in contact, and now I'm stuck with a desktop. If I don't win this contest, I will probably still get it, BUT it would be nice to not have to spend $200 and instead use it on something better like the interest on my college loans. My mother and father are avid readers who loves books dearly and of course raised me to love reading as well; however, I saw first hand the difficulty in keeping up a library collection especially when they decided to relocate. Those books caused the most difficulty. As follows, I have built up quite a collection and would like to transfer my love of reading to a Kindle to save those hassles and more. I could use the Kindle Fire for school. Spring semester is coming around in the next couple of weeks, and I looked into eBooks for the first time b/c my textbooks cost are horrendous! As if college students aren't broke enough after tuition fees! I entered the other event you had for the Kindle Fire and I didn't win. I'm a 32 year old single Mother of a 3 year old boy in South Central CA trying to get my degree at Loyola Marymount University. I have to come up with $800 a month for school that financial aid doesnt cover and I can't afford my text books.
