  • Rogan is 100% right

  • you can tell the boxing dude is butt hurt

  • Fuck I love Rogan. Wish I could talk like him.

  • Young white guys?! this guys a fag

  • And rightfully so, Boxing has a great history behind it and I feel it contributed to civil rights.Too much weighing of the truth and not enough open thinking. Don't act like anyone's entitled to the art of fighting. It's more a topic of generalizing, insecurity among people.

As long as you have good technique, you can be a professional in boxing while still being a well rounded fighter in kicking, grappling etc.

"Jack of all trades, master of none. Certainly much better than a master of one."

  • MMA just produces boring generic fighters who don't do anything particularly well. Case in point:

Take the FIVE TIME MMA CHAMPION Tim Sylvia who was rendered unconscious by a single punch from a 50 year old ex-boxer.

Sorry guys, you can''t call this a complete fighting art if you can't even block or move out of the way of a single punch.

Its not "actual fighting" either. If you are unfortunate enough to be in a street fight, you hit hard and escape, going to ground is suicide.

  • @momfightdotcom

Tim Sylvia was a douche and the heavyweight division in the UFC has been a joke. Couture came back and beat him and he was outweight by like 50 lbs.

Good point about going to the ground but do you really think that would apply in a one on one street fight?

  • I think that a MMA fighter has a way better chance at excelling in boxing than a boxer excelling in a MMA fight.

  • @CHRISTIANNWO No way man ... MMA fighter's have a very weak punching game . Diaz who has the best boxing skills in MMA get's toyed around by omar henry and andre ward in sparring . A boxer with take down defense and a bit of grappling can take a lot of mma fighters . Put it this way going from 16 oz training and 10oz fighting gloves to 4 ounces ... can punch sooo much faster and accurately with that plus it's a octagon so we could utilize footwork more efficiently

  • @Perrrsiaaan Your only thinking about punching. A boxer has to learn a lot more to compete in a MMA fight, he must learn wrestling, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, he must learn how to block elbows, knees, tackles, submissions. There is just so much more stuff in a MMA fight that a boxer has to learn to be competitive. A MMA on the other hand just has to worry about learning how to defend his upperbody like he never did before. So yeah, it would be much tougher for a boxer to transition to MMA.

  • i love boxing, fuck gayweather, always gives boring fights, that's why many people think that boxing is a boring sport, pacquiao all the way

  • Floyd must be smoking crack if he thinks Chuck the ICe Man wouldn't put it on him ... I would love seeing that Niger in a cage with Chuck L. .... Getting his teeth knocked out .... Like Rogan said boxing is a beautiful sport but it's limited try going out on the street fighting someone who knows how to fight I bet an UFC fighter would of put it on any Boxer hands down ... And as far as Floyd Maywether whatever that pice of shits name ... Your A Joke HOMEBOY a reall definition of a NIGGER !

  • England , New Zealand , most of euruope and HUGE in germany *

  • Ohk I'm getting a bit carried away but one last thing , Heavyweight boxing as i stated is at a all time low and still pulling more attention then mma ... In saying that i mean world wide because America has no competitive heavy weights at the moment so it's quite obscure in the states but relatively quite big in other places Especially England , New Zealand (thats me=) ) , and HUGE in germany.

God bless all fighters regardless of what sport , VIVA LA BOXING !!

  • For all of you saying " A boxer wouldent las one minute in the octagon with a boxer" should really think about who would win if the MMA fighter could only box against a boxer, obviously the boxer would win because they practice in hand to hand combat. My point is, why do they bring all these boxers who only know boxing into the ring with MMA fighters when the boxers have no MMA training, I think when the MMA fighters fighting a boxer they should only be allowed to use boxing.

  • @CamoSniper87 you have no idea what you're talking about. The boxers that go in mma do train mma for at least a full year every day and still get destroyed. why should mma guys only be allowed to box a boxer?? ITS NOT BOXING, ITS FIGHTING mma is all about the full art of fighting not lets see who is a better puncher. It doesnt matter how a mma guy will do only boxing bc punching better doesn't make you a better fighter, it makes you a better puncher. DUHHHHHHHHH.... your comment is ridiculous

  • @westjt17 Think before you talke because obviosuly the guys who only train in boxing are going to beat the guys that train in MMA at boxing.. I bet your the typical little white brat. I've been in boxing for 12 years and MMA for 7 so i know what im talking about, jesus I honestly they should do more to keep unintelligent idiots that only know how to caps lock and diss. Your a fucking idiot because the boxers going to win at boxing. Stupid, Stupid shit.

  • @CamoSniper87 you call me an idiot while you didn't even comprehend what i was saying, at all!! I never said a mma guy can outbox a boxer, that's idiotic I said that mma guy can beat a boxer in a fight. ohh everyone on the internet has been doing boxing and mma for years, if you really do, i don't give a shit bc i've been doing both for several years as well so your not special. Also caps is used to get a point across, something youre not doing. and wat difference does it make if im white?

  • @westjt17 Well you first off dont need to use caps-lock to get your point across because people just find it annoying. Secondly you where saying I had " no idea what I was talking about" and for that you called me an "idiot". So i further continue provind what a delusional idiot you are because all I said is a Boxer could basicly beat an mma fighter at boxing, and you said I have no idea what im talking about, I think 18 years of experience will teach me something.

  • @CamoSniper87 basically what i was saying is that in a fight why should an mma guy only be allowed to punch, if he's fighting a boxer. Sure in a boxing match thats the rule and of course a boxer would just pick apart the mma guy, but in a mma fight the mma guy should not have to limit himself becasue his opponent isn't well rounded

  • @westjt17 Because everyone puts down professional boxers when they fight agianst MMA fighters because they lose, but boxing fighters dont know how to grapple and etc. So im saying if a MMA fighter fought a boxer with the MMA fighter only being able to box, then that would be fair.

  • @CamoSniper87 that would not be fair, boxers train only in boxing, they would easily win......if the point is to see who is a better fighter then they should be able to grapple, besides it's their own fault for not learning to grapple. maybe they should do one mma fight and one just boxing and see who lasts longer in each others style

  • @westjt17 Exactky they shouldent have to be doing MMA fights when MMA guys dont want to have boxing fights. Its not fair to boxers because they dont know grappling, kicks. most of them anyway

  • @CamoSniper87 well now we've come to an agreement, i do feel that some boxers really think they can walk in and ko any ufc fighter (james toney, mayweather) it would be nice to see an equal ammount attempt each others sports and very entertaining probably even it was only a 1 round fight

  • @westjt17 Yeah, They both excell at what they do. Their just not meant to be used agianst eachother really, so yeah I do completely agree.

  • @CamoSniper87 I don't see why you had to make a civil argument into insulting each other , come on man grow up please

  • @Perrrsiaaan Actually you called me an idiot and my statement made no sense

  • Comment removed

  • in a real fight, mma will win do to the kicks and ground game. boxers can only punch, what they going to do when they on the ground. the mma fighter will find ways to break the box bones or choke him out.

  • Boxing is corrupt

  • JOE ROGAN WAS RIGHT THERE HAVE BEEN NO NEW BIG NAMES SINCE.

  • @lilsm555 Manny Pacquiao ... ? Saul Alvarez ? Amiir khan ?

  • @Perrrsiaaan Who?

  • @neight78 Your obviously a MMA fan , Saul alvarez is a 21 year old future star of our sport , at the age of 19 he was drawing 20,000 - 30,0000 fans to watch him fight . Amir Khan ... you don't know who that is ?? One of englands biggest fighters and currently makes more money then any MMA fighter excluding brock lesnar (which only sells big because of his fan base which originate from his wwe days .

  • @lilsm555 What about Manny or Mayweather or all these new fighters. Him saying that just made him look like an idiot because there are more and more big names coming into the sport of boxing.

  • I'm a huge fan of both sports. 'Nuff said.

  • I like mma and rogan, but boxing will never die. Also, if you watch mma, you can see if you put a fighter in there with good boxing skills, they can honestly destroy.

Current ufc heavyweight champ, dos santos boxes well, not on par with pro boxers, but he destroys the heavyweight field.

  • @Vroom246 but dos santos has excellent takedown defense which enables him to utilize his boxing skills, plus he is very powerful so one clean punch from him will ko about anyone. If you put in a boxer he would not do well at all until he trained for many years developing the rest of his game. Many boxers have attempted mma and i am basing my opinion on what has repeatedly happened to them: they get taken down and finished in the first round

  • @westjt17 well you're right, i'm not disagreeing that going into mma w/ only boxing skills usually won't help much. but a lot of dos santos' fights end quickly b/c he's a good boxer. so i'm saying, the punching efficiency of boxing is evident even in mma. most mma fighters are not good boxers, so an mma fighter w/ good boxing skills can cut them down easily.

  • @Vroom246 It's not just cause dos Santos has remarkable boxing, its also because he's good at everything else. He has great tdd, and his ground game is pretty solid, I mean he trains with the Nog brothers and always gets right back to his feet. Whether it be boxing, muay thai, or karate, if your a very well rounded fighter, your primary attributes shine through.

  • @Vroom246 yes, that is true but also everything irphil47 said

  • Haha, hemadbro.

  • Mayweather is not the best p4p boxer, Pacquiao is the best p4p, Mayweather always gives boring fights always in defensive mode and scared to share punches he spent more time running in the ring than boxing, but Pacman is the opposite he's fast, agresive he's fun to watch, not because mayweather sucks doesn't mean that boxing sucks mayweather & hopkins are most boring boxer today, but if yall watch khan, pacquiao & donaire they're not boring to watch like mayweather

  • And so you know I'm also a mma fan just not ignorant like you , i do jiu jitsu cause sometimes a fight can happen in slippery surfaces or anywhere in general that you might be on the ground therefore i practice the art. But boxing is not dead and never will be

  • hahahahaha hey i remember watching this when it first aired on sportscenter a few years bak lol u gotta love rogan, ur average Joe lol although im not particularly huge on ufc, boxing is pretty much a dead sport, its done and had its time... time to move on u old farts, boxing sux, there's hardly ever any KO's its boring and lame as fuk with weak ass fags like mayweather as ur spokeman hahahaha n when there is a decision at the end of matches the 3 crooked judges are paid off to pick a winner

  • @daleva187goligo If boxing is dead then why did Dereck Chisora slapping Klitschkoe get 1million views in a day and david hay's brawl with him at the post conference pull 1 mill veiws?? Why are more boxers being interviewed by people like geroge lopez and jimmy kimmel ??

Has their been a mma fighter based movie pulling more attention then Mickyward/fighter ??

And last but not least why is may weather - pacquiao bigger then ANY mma fight currently available ??

  • @shankthatup you are right, it's not dead and i don't believe it will ever die, but with the younger generation it is far less popular, there are kids that start training jui jitsu at 5 yrs old nowadays. Within the next 10 yrs. i think mma will be much larger than boxing. Also while mayweather - pacquiao is the biggest, that is the only one 95% of people are interested in while mma has several fights every month or so with some of the top fighters

  • @westjt17 I see what your saying , but MMA doesn't have anything drawing as much as the fighters are in the 140-153 divisions not just pacquiao and may weather i mean the whole lot . Even the Heavy weight division which is the worse it has EVER been in boxing history is at the moment drawing more attention then ufc fights . Dereck chisora's little incident pulled 2million views on "one" of the video's posted in less then 6days ...

  • @westjt17 Do you know David Haye - Klitschkoe's made more money then all the main fights which fighters made from the whole year of 2011 in ufc ?? And that's not even Mayweather who pulls 40million+ each fight ...

  • @shankthatup yes they make more money, but im just saying with the younger generation ufc is far more popular so when this generation gets older then ufc will be the more watched sport

  • more proof that the world is full of idiots

  • i think the comparison of boxers saying "they have poor boxing skills" but they have to realize that they have "weird" stances is because they throw kicks use takedowns... the competion should be STAND-UP not boxing... the reason the fights are short is because of the many combinations i.e. chokes, mounts, arm locks, elbows, there's so many choices.. its using your entire body... its very tiring.. these are the reasons for the "faults" in mma...

  • @ErikAllenAwake AGREED!

  • MMA is way better than BOXING..theres various form of techniques.a boxer wont survive a triangle choke.boxing moves is just LIMITED.

  • @6packswithin AGREED

    !

  • UFC is the sport of fighting, Boxing is the sport of punching. End of story.

  • @Supaduck0 AGREED!

  • @Supaduck0 nope, both have rules

  • Most mma fighters have backgrounds in different styles of combat. Olympic wrestlers, national champions in jiu jitsu, muay thai even a karate guy now. NOT boxers they never trained to be or are they trying to be. So stop

  • @springwaterization AGREED!

  • You all guys are retarded. The 2 sports have nothing to do with eachother. Just like how boxing has nothing to do with taekwando. So stop comparing the 2 in any way.

  • everyone below me is gay.

  • imma boxer & i love boxing

but i wanna say something about mma

mma use of both striking and grappling techniques

striking = including boxing, karate, muay thai, taekwondo and wing chun

grappling = amateur wrestling, submission wrestling, judo, sumo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu

thats why i really respect this beauty art have everything

plz dont get me wrong i really love boxing punching is

    my favorite fighting style :)

  • @mrnormalxx agreed

  • And for those saying look what happened to James Toney. Look what happened to Tim Sylvia, just over a year removed from the UFC HW strap when he fought Ray Mercer. KTFO in 10 seconds. At least Toney lasted longer than 10 seconds. LMAO at you dingalings. Wow, Couture grabbed Toneys ankles and humped him.. Exciting.. If your gay.

  • I can think of tons of boxers who if they trained MMA would be legit top rank threats. i can't think of one MMA fighter if he trained just Boxing would even be more than Journeyman quality. Even your P4P king A. Silva is 2-2 as a pro boxer versus nobodies in Brazil. MMA is for the most part collegiate wrestlers or BJJ players who try to learn how to box way too late in life. So you have windmill punches and fights that are nothing better than what you see at your local bar.

  • For all you MMA enthusiasts, check out a D. Cruz on YouTube saying Boxing is harder than MMA and that MMA hasn't progressed much in the last 10 years and he doesn't even watch it. This from a guy who beat Faber twice and is in the p4p debate in MMA. He admits Boxing is harder than MMA. So MMA fanboys, shut up, one of your heroes even says Boxing is harder. Those who can, Boxing, those who can't MMA..

  • I don´t have much against the MMA, but to me it lacks something. Boxing (at its best) is beautiful and respectful combat between two individuals. I like boxing way better than MMA.

MMA is more like putting two dogs to kill each other inside of a cage. Young men want more violence. That´s why it is so popular. I would urge them to watch boxing. It´s a beautiful sport.

  • @Anathema77 You simply don't understand the art of fighting.

  • @Anathema77 What are you talking about? Boxing is full of arrogant assholes and guys who fight at press conferences-the top fighters dodge each other relentlessly, the sport is an awful state. MMA has champions like anderson silva and george st pierre who are respectful.

  • @2011hwalker Haha ... Top fighters dodge each other relentlessly ?? It's politics just like how we haven't seen silva - pierre (which I'm dying to see ) or lesnar - fedor when it was hot ... oh and diaz - pierre ?? thats going back and forth . At least to post a contradicting argument

  • @shankthatup the reason for certain fights not happening in ufc is because they already have other fights lined up far before (most of the time) but for the most part i think most ufc fighters aren't as money crazy as many boxers.....I as well am a big fan of both sports.

  • I love how boxing supporters always sound so entitled when they disrespect MMA. Boxing is done. Boxing is one element of fighting. MMA IS FIGHTING. I also find it funny that they downtalk MMA as being barbaric or similar to cock fighting when all of the long-time greats in boxing are/were reduced to stuttering, stammering shells.

  • @ErikAllenAwake exactly:

Boxing is an Element of Fighting

Jui Juitsu is an Element of Fighting

    Hence they're all sport.

MMA is FIGHTING.... not a sport.

  • mma has already been proven to be better than boxing, randy couture vs james toney, couture beat him in 3 minutes, and toney didnt have a chance for anything, people that say boxing is better than mma are delusional.

  • @ClownHouseProduction lmfao its completly opinion and basing your whole arguement on a fatass past-prime boxer walking into the octagon and getting beat at someone elses game is hilarious and Chuck liddel would be DESTROYED AND HUMILIATED in his prime by roy jones jr. mike tyson etc etc and st. Pierre would get his shit wrecked by andre ward or sergio martinez fuck your lame shit

  • @wutup5566 would and happening are 2 different things. funny how MMA fighters admit they arent boxers. tell that to boxers who think they can walk right in.

  • @dromezz1993 Yea we all know what happened to James Toney in the 1st round in MMA LMAO

  • I agree that boxing is a limited sport, but its a much more fast paced and exhausting sport. A boxer would have a small chance to win in the cage verse a mma fighter, but the boxer would still have a chance of winning if he catches him with his fast, precise hands. An mma fighter on the other hand, if chooses to fight in a boxing ring will no doubt get punished. Boxing is 100 % striking, MMA is only 30-45 % boxing, the rest is all BJJ, Wrestling, Judo, Karate.

  • @Xternol ts everything. u have alot of tools so does ur opponent

  • @Xternol You just made the point at the end. Boxing is one piece of fighting. When you say striking are you talking about hands? Striking is knees, elbows, legs, and fists. What it really comes down to is boxing isn't a real fight, Joe made the point in the beginning. If your on a street and it's a FIGHT to the death, are you only going to throw punches? It's like a lion only using it's claws, it doesn't happen in the real world.

Take a step back, with no rules whatsoever, who wins?

  • @Xternol - Boxing is more exhausting than MMA? Are you kidding me? A boxer has NO CHANCE in MMA. He has no concept of takedown defense. He has no concept of throwing submissions, gaining mount... none of it. As soon as the fight goes to the ground, the boxer loses. In a boxing match, a good MMA striker at least has a shot. A pure striker in the octagon is a sacrificial lamb.

  • @ErikAllenAwake man I was going to say the same thing, you took the words out of my mouth. :)

  • @ErikAllenAwake HOW HARD IS IT TO MASTER SPRAWLING LMAO

  • joe just shat on the other guy.

  • Rogan is a clown. HIs best comedy comes when he does broadcasts with that coked up clown Goldy. Only Rogan is being serious about the fight, and that is when he does his best comedy. MMA is not more 'real'. in a street fight you can eye gouge, pull hair, groin strikes, throat strikes, strike back of head, kick a downed 'opponent'.. The list goes on. MMA is just a place for guys who can't make it in Boxing.

  • Hmm, ignorance. Boxers would get beat so easily in MMA and MMA fighters would lose in Boxing. I don't see why everyone gets their panties in a bunch about all of this, it's two different things. Rogan is right though..the UFC is WAY more "exciting" to most people.

  • @joglo65 why would a wrestler go to boxjng?

  • MMA is for repressed homsexuals who can't make it in Boxing. I can think of tons of top caliber boxers who if they trained in MMA would be elite. I can't think of one MMA fighter if he trained only Boxing could even be above journeyman quality. Truth hurts, but MMA is a place mostly college wrestlers and BJJ players go who can't make it in Boxing. Hell, even the MMA p4p Silva has a 2-2 pro boxing record fighting nobodies in Brazil. Those who can, Boxing, those who can't MMA

  • Enough with this "real fight" bullshit. In a real fight someone would die and that would more than likely be caused by the use of a weapon. Try and "shoot" on me and i'll shoot you in the face.

  • So good watching this in retrospect haha

  • boxing > ufc, shits boring as fuck.

  • Rogan is a Douchbag. MMA fighters never become great at a single style of fighting. They just become jack of all trades style fighters. Boxers devote their lives to one skill and usually begin at very young ages and they master that skill of Boxing.

  • @egorja boxing is gay.. so r u.. boxing isn't fighting.. its hugging and hitting with pillows. boxing wont win you a real fight.

  • @akayourmommasdaddy I am gay? You're the one with an obsession with Tim Teblow.

  • @egorja i have an obsession with tebow? or maybe i am just a denver bronco fan? i live in colorado? idiot lol. i love how you go to my channel trying to find some insult material. no life..

  • @egorja only in boxing can you knock someone out with a cheap shot and still win the fight... bitch ass faggots.. corrupt ass sport!~

  • Granted that the fight that you are mentioning was bullshit, but I think its bullshit to see two men hug for 15mins.

  • @egorja not true, there are several world champs of individual styles in the ufc, not to mention the other fight organizations. Also even if most are a "jack of all trades", guess what? that makes them the better fighter, isn't that what it should be about?? Being the best fighter you can possibly be, not just being the best puncher or wrestler or kicker, etc...

  • @egorja What's the difference in devoting their lives to one style than devoting their lives to a few different styles. Both fighters put in the hard work at the gym.

  • I used to love boxing. But the boxers quit loving it. They rather run for 12 rounds for a decision, rather than try to win a fight. And this is the new trend in the UFC

  • I guess I might have too cause they must not have gotten the message by now. It sucks to say but boxing is dying a slow death. Joe Rogan put it perfectly, "your sport is being swallowed."

  • @123UncleRuckus With 250K ppv buys LOL

  • Rogan owned that debate

  • UFC ppv numbers are decreasing all the time. OK it peaked in 09/10 and its been downhill from there.

It will always be a 'dudebro' sport.

  • @momfightdotcom pretty much the same for boxing as well.

  • That ESPN guy is ah big bitch

  • thanks joe u fucking raped him haha

  • I give boxing 5 more years then it's dead. Everyone is moving over to the UFC because it is simply better in all aspects. I feel bad for young boxers now because they too will have to transition to the UFC.

  • @123UncleRuckus LOL I hope that is satire

  • @momfightdotcom No. Just accept it.

  • @123UncleRuckus So are they going to scrap olympic boxing in 2016? You better go and email all the tens of thousands of amateur clubs out there and tell them its all off. Lets not forget the world championships.

Lets not forget the arenas in every country around the world that sell out and the hundreds of world class boxers who fight every week who are going to be jobless because of the Dana White and george st pierre.

    LOL

  • watch this every1 ---- /watch?v=sN6GcX66pOs&feature=related

  • Joe Rogan already looks pissed even before they start arguing.

  • boxing is the best... w

  • JOE ROGAN is like ALMOST every other MMA FIGHTER or FAN. a MEATHEAD LMAO

  • @ghrawl2049 TROLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @dromezz1993 LMAO you know im right LMAO

  • @ghrawl2049 naw ur not right at all.

  • O im SORRY he actually admitted using HUMAN GROWTH HORMONES LMAO. what a LOSER

  • DiBella was butthurt as hell lol. Boxing is far from a dying sport but I prefer it over MMA because the fights in MMA never really last that long from what I've seen. I know it's because they're beating the utter shit out of each other and putting each in locks and shit, but there's just something about seeing grapples or a guy tap out in a matter of minutes that kills the buzz for me.

  • thumbs up if Joe Rogan is a BEAST !! dont fuck with joe lol

  • Ever since JOE ROGAN left FEAR FACTOR.this dude is a MEATHEAD just like almost every MMA fighter. n he thinks hes TOUGH LOL

  • @ghrawl2049 joe rogan is tough he has a black belt in taekwondo and a purple belt in BJJ under eddie bravo and not every MMA fighter is a meathead maybe you should meet more than a few like rich franklin or Jose Aldo before you make assumptions

  • @bunghole211 I know a 8 year old kid that has a BLACKBELT in TAEKWONDOE LOL.Did you see him in Fear Factor??? Ever since he went to the Ufc JOE ROGAN is a MEATHEAD/ROIDBOY. If hes not on the juice he cant leave GNC alone LMAO

  • @ghrawl2049 you really dont know what your talking about anybody can earn a blackbelt in taekwondo but it takes alot to be a U.S champion in the sport and the fact that he has his purple belt under world renown jiujitsu practitioner eddie bravo is another amazing feat and so what if he used GROWTH HORMONES almost every athlete does it boxers have done it to but I am not going to answer you anymore because you are a troll I can tell because you left the same comment 5 hours ago

  • @bunghole211 HELL NO GROWTH HORMONES are BANNED in SPORTS FOOL. If I seen this clown id SMACK the shit out of him seriously. Hes another MEATHEAD ACTOR that thinks hes TOUGH. yea BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU and WRESTLING a SPORT most liked by HOMOSEXUALS because they get to HUG and HOLD EACH OTHER LOL

  • boxing is a entertainment sport and science, mma is a entertainment sport. on a real life, when you fighting in the street you need a boxing style.one punch ko. you can use hand more than legs...

  • @shalva098 So if everyone could knock you out with one punch and be accurate enough to do that before they got taken down and pounded out, then we wouldnt be having this discussion. Watch early UFC. They didnt ban ANYONE, even sumo wrestlers were invited. Guess who won. Grappling and MMA.

  • @Jeremypsyclone I like UFC very much, my favourite fighter is reem and diaz. what's about " taken down and pounded" all the fight lasting one or two minutes,so i think, that you need more hand. It is my opinion. I respect your estimation. sorry about my english...

  • two different sports, both are awesome in their own way. Joe Rogan is the man, if you aint high by two in the afternoon go fuck ya self.

  • I would love to see an mma fighter exchange fist with Manny PAC MAN. Boxers have stronger chins, more endurance, better timing, head movement, quick hands, perfect punches but would lose in MMA. MMA fighters would get fucked up in boxing though(no chance.)

  • @zakkman8 yes although an MMA fighter would get fucked up beyond recognition after a boxing match but you got to admit they could possibly survive and go to the distance just because they got the basic fundamentals of boxing get nick diaz against pac man Diaz is the best boxer in the UFC I think he could survive 3/10 times

  • @zakkman8: Plenty of former pro boxers with solid winning records who fight in MMA, former golden gloves, national champs etc. Not to mention Olympians in wrestling, Judo, world champions in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, Sambo etc. Former K1 world champ Badr Hari is going into boxing.

  • anyone can make it in boxing......but the ufc is for the real fighters

  • (vs) = Sedition

  • (vs) = Sedition

  • I love UFC and mma but at the same time I feel there's something fundamentally fucked up and barbaric about it. I just hate to see to guys beat each other to a pulp, I guess they have a lot to prove.

  • Boxing is much better sport and here is why:

    It has History

    It shows TRUE skill

    Not Gay

And there are guys who makes 10-35 million while UFC fighters make around 500k( how is boxing a dying sport when someone like Klitschko made 10 million fighting Haye)

  • maffia here is why you are wrong

MMA has much more history and is way older

yes boxing does take true skill in PUNCHING but MMA takes skill in every aspect of fighting

you're just a faggot for saying that MMA is gay there is nothing gay about grappling I would love to see you do it

And MMA is a relatively new sport it is only 17 years old so they aren't going to be paid as much as a boxer and boxing is dying because those people are going to be the last famous people in boxing

  • @bunghole211 MMA doesn't take any skill not in any way. A fat guy can succeed in MMA. When I watch MMA I see only one style and that is if you get someone down you have won cuz you just sit on them and keep punching them .I am not going to lie I did like the idea of MMA when I heard about it cuz I thought people from different fighting style were going to fight it out to see which one is the superior sport. Also how can boxing be a dying sport, I really don't see what you guys are talking about.

  • @maffia440 OK I can tell you right now that it is going to be impossible to argue with you because me getting my point across to you is going to be like trying to get my point across to a kid with down syndrome you wont listen you're so caught up in your boxing fanboyism that you wont admit that it takes more skill why dont you look up the video about bernard hopkins admitting it takes skill to be in MMA and there is many styles in MMA that is why it is called MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

  • @maffia440 It is called MMA because it is a mixture of all styles sorry to tell you but you will rarley see one style in MMA. And no fat guy has really succeeded in MMA if you are talking about tank abbott or roy nelson they really aren't all that good they haven't fought people past they're level and when they did they got they're ass kicked by the same person Frank Mir. And boxing is dying because like joe said they are the last famous people in boxing list 25 WORLD RENOWN boxers

  • @maffia440 And you saying that MMA takes no skill it takes much more skill boxing uses skill in punching but MMA takes skill in using your entire body not just your hands and you have to be more conditioned than a boxer all around you have to condition your entire body because the fight can go anywhere but since your opinion is the only one that matters I guess you are right in your head

  • @bunghole211 YOU KEEP TELLING ME BOXING IS A DYING SPORT SPORT, WHERE IS THE PROOF? Boxing goes on and off after Muhammed Ali left a decade later came Mike Tyson and it hasn't been a decade after Tyson and yet we have Floyd, Pac-Man and Marquez. Also what makes you so sure that there wont be another, for all we know there could be another Ali or Tyson actually it don't have to be someone like them it could just be someone like Lewis and boxing will be big again.

  • @maffia440 The proof is that nobody is buying PPV cards that doesn't have a big name anymore. People are only paying for the big cards now like joe rogan said the big names right now are going to be the last big names of boxing can boxing be saved no but can it be revived yes as soon as all these piece of shit promoters go away and get promoters that actually care about the sport then it can be revived when I get a little unwinded from work then I will give you more thorough proof

  • @maffia440 Are you retarded? Do some homework on the sport before you open your cock holster. Because there are a couple of 'fat guys' who happen to succeed in MMA, you assume that it takes no skill. I would be willing to bet money that you've never trained a day in MMA or boxing.

  • joe rogan is a don

  • DiBella... woah, what a clown.

  • Joe Rogan is the greatest arguer of our time. He is the one

  • Basically, Boxing and UFC are totally different sports. No matter what, there's going to be people who prefer Boxing and people who prefer UFC. Joe Rogan is an idiot to claim boxing is 'dying'. Boxing always comes back. It just takes a great fighter to make it exciting like Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson did.

  • BEAST throw at 2:38. just beautiful.

  • I love both Boxing and UFC very much but UFC is definately more of a fighting sport. Every boxer either admited that UFC was more of a complete hand to hand fight than boxing or was destroyed by a UFC fighter.

  • Joe Rogan tore up that simple minded fuk.

  • I grew up with boxing and I will die with boxing

  • This DiBella guy, what a fucking moron, lol..

  • Besides, great fighters would learn the arts one at a time. Box for 10 years, then wrestle for 10 years. NEVER learn them all at once, that just creates sloppy fighters. So looking at it from that point of view, MMA can be viewed as cock fighting, however i think that people who do each sport individually have the potential to be a truly great "MMA" fighter. MMA proves more than any sport so far who would really win in a real fight. Theres nothing wrong with having a passion for it.

  • Those who hate on UFC are just in denial man. Boxing is a beautiful sport, but if it came down to it, a man who knew MMA vs. a boxer.. the mma guy would win, i've seen little guys wrestle boxers within seconds, because of their lack of skill on the ground. I COMPLETELY disagree that boxing is useless in a street fight, infact, its probably one of the best things to know in a fight (paired with muay thai). I do Muay Thai, boxing, and wrestling. Is that not better than knowing just one of them?

  • i dont think that ufc fighter can even stand on his feet till 12th round.

  • @brownchild91 Both sports have similar conditioning. And i've seen a championship bout in UFC go the full 5 rounds (25 minutes, compared to boxing's 36) and the guys were still full of energy, after wrestling and kicking the whole time (takes more energy than punching). To say the boxers have better conditioning than the UFC fighters is just plain ignorant man, both sports work VERY hard to condition their fighters.

  • i dont get what lou said. as long as u get a bunch of young whites ufc will exist. why do ppl forget that much of todays heavyweight boxing is dominated by eastern europeans for the most part. why does he assume ufc is for white boys who cant make it into boxing. marco huck the klitchkos borthers arent bad at all.yea the LW divions isnt white territory with floyd and manny but in the HW europeans are doing very well for a "bunch of whiteboys" MMA is the most realistic sport for young guys

  • Joe representing 10th Planet JJ with the attire

  • Hah i love the look on joes face as he considers how hes going to destroy this turd when he finishes dribbling his bullshit

  • I love both sports but I can agree to a point that boxing is slowly dying. In UFC the best have no choice but to fight the best. In boxing dudes like Chavez Jr who claim to be the best can run and avoid the best fighters in the division like Martinez because hes scared to lose. Hopkins spoke trash about UFC then apologised a few month back saying the fighters are no joke. Boxing can learn a hell of a lot from UFC

  • @MrTheDodster I think Chavez is figting Martinez soon though..
