You may not like him because he doesn't spit the same generic trash most mainstream rappers do, and he doesn't sound gangster or intimidating, but if you listen to him lyrically, he comes harder than most, the reason for that is because he has an original style and doesn't spit the trash that in every song... @borntohate20 The problem isn't me disliking most mainstream artists. It's mainstream fans thinking mainstream artist have rap skills. I actually like Kid Cudi's album. It was one of my favorite albums of 09'. He's a decent rapper but by no means great. I guess I just grew up in a different time (90-96) when mainstream rap was great. But then again mainstream rap wasn't pop like it is these days. Even the party anthems back then had awesome wordplay and sick rhymes.

Whoever compares Asher to Eminem needs to actually pay attention to the sound differences. Asher Roth has the more laid back flows; as with Eminem, he is more aggressive in his raps (not saying that is bad). They are both good rappers, but Asher Roth is NOT like Eminem.

Can we get Em an A Roth on the same track!! That would be a classic lp...the both can shut errbody up about how the "so similar" all rappers get that shyt...wutever. Everyone copies or mimics other people in all fashions/walks of life and u make it your own. Period. Hopefully the two of em can make that happen the lyrical content between the two would be EPIC..

Whoever compares Asher to Eminem needs to actually pay attention to the sound differences. Asher Roth has the more laid back flows; as with Eminem, he is more aggressive in his raps (not saying that is bad). They are both good rappers, but Asher Roth is NOT like Eminem.

Yeah there styles are not the same but you can hear a very distinct pitch in voice from Asher that sounds very similar to 90's Eminem. Maybe it's just the way it is I don't know.

I'm glad that Consequence puts himself out there as himself truly. His songs are great to listen to, helps with going through some days. Asher Roth surprised me too on this track.
