what happend to the dan river between Stuart and Hillsville Va along road 58? I remember when i was a kid there was an area that had a gift shop, a board walk and once had a big river boat called the Dan River queen, it had been years since i was there, and i drove by last month and everything is gone, Even the dan river itself is gone, theres no river at all!
