I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

-13.5 HP increase

-Lifetime filter

-SOUND AWESOME

-30 min. install time

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

@wejhvabewjty have you unlocked level 4 upgrade? works is simply level 4 upgrade... you must unlock tier 4 cars to install works on lower tier cars

yep :) in every series the higher the better.. in 8000 series 8800 is the highest 8400 is the lowest of the series.. they have a lot difference.. also mine is from EVGA and its GTS 512... look for the compares on the web..

they say it is for your low-rated car to be able to race with highest-rated cars...

what it does is that it increases car's speed, acceleration, handling and breaking significantly.. it is like putting level 4 of everything (including interior and exterior)... but it also removes any Nitrous package you might have...

i think this games much better than gran turismo purely because its got customization in it as well its just got less tracks and cars but customization makes up for it;) just my opinion

One thing i dont like about this game is that you dont have full control of customization. Like body kits its only pre-choose ones and theres like 4 . Basically you can change the colour of the car / wheels and add vinyls but thats about as far as customization in this game goes and then you have all the engine upgrades and stuff gameplay is good but customization let it down alot

Not all cars have the works conversion upgrade. Check the "W" icon beside the car name at the car lot, then it can be works converted. :)

Customizing same car i maxed out every upgrade but it is not giving me option to purchase works upgrade. also i dont have car status bar on bottom right hand of bmy screen. Im using ps3...
