Take a look into my channel, this was the first flight of this with some problems, thisis my own design and custom made head without gyros or stabilizers, after this flight do a lot of modifications, in the head, mechanics and blades.
This is the first flight and the problem is not because i'm running without governor mode ( Btw...the governor mode of the Align Speed Control is not good at all !). After this first flight i'm changed the speed to a new one and the problem go out ( or at least inprove a bit...the other issue is about setup of the multi blade phasing). see the other videos with wood blades (painted) and with Carbon Blades. Don't forget the fact this are "tests" of my own made heads...
Hi clint. Good look in the koala project, I will subscribe to your page to looking forward for your videos and I will search in runryder to!. And like you said..I feel your pain to find and eliminate vibes in the heli, that is really boring!.
It sounds to me like you need to get your throttle pitch curves setup better cause you are drastically excellorating and decellorating the motor with your collective changes. Just IMHO.
Hi clint. You are a good observer, but is not throtle curve issue, is the infamous "PHASING" I been tried many curves and nothing change, if you take a look in the last Ecureuil video ( with carbon blades one) you can see a dramatically difference in quality of flight, I have reached that only changing the phasing point.
Ahhh! Yes the old Phasing issues... Hopes things have been sorted out by now. I feel your pain. I am currently working on building an AP Rig for my 600E and i am in the process of chasing down some really bad Vibes on the heli, its driving me crazy to get it just right. Anyway, great looking heli. I love the Tri-Blade head. i hope i can get my Koala Scale Fuse on my 600E soon. Cheers and happy flying.
