  • since I've watched every video at least 20 times I better leave a comment haha.Loving your grooves and the way you break them down. Also really appreciate that you put up the transcriptions! Thanks Todd... luvin the funky beats!

  • The Drums, Todd's weapon of choice.

    nice vid.

  • Nice Todd. I'm glad your writing it out for everyone. Makes everything is easy to understand for whichever way someone learns. Chase C

  • Thanks Dean! I am just using the Flip video camera, there is not a "audio in" on the camera to send my mic'd signal to. So it 's just all room natural! As for the heads, they are Evans G2 coated. I do many drum tracks as well, for a variety of clients.

  • Ah, ok. I thought you might be able record to pro tools or something, sync it up with your vid footage later. For a camera mic, it sounds quite good, appreciate the reply.

  • Slick! Once again, explained really well.

Why dont you use the audio feed from the mics on your kit...and....

    What skins are you using?

    Thanx in advance!

    Dean

  • Thanks everyone!!!

  • sounds like those little fills in t.v. shows like Law And Order S.V.U. or Seinfeld

  • another sick lick.... love it

  • Thanks! ......and yes there is a ton of material available out there. Check Warner Bros. Publications, Hudson Music, DCI, Drummers Collective, Alfred Publishing amongst others...get a Modern Drummer Magazine and look at the companies as well, hope this helps you!

  • Outstanding! Love these lessons! Culd definitely feel the soul in that groove. A question I really liking that type of feel as well as fusion grooves, but cant figure out how to play them! Are there any books or videos you know of that teaches fusion, or are you able to post vis teaching that style? Or whatever you could recommend to learn fusion.
