windows vista is the most awesome thing ever made it has security and its so safe and all that shit but its awesome i love vista its like my computers best friend! vista sucked big time when first came out but the problem was it was not finshed they had to put it out when they said they had to now its finshed and it works awesome I love vista!

Hey there's nothing wrong with Vista. Everybody lies. I am typing from a Vista because my fucking XP Media Center computer takes 5 minutes. OS X Leopard is okay but god. It costs $1000 for a crappy 13 inck notebook. My Toshiba is bigger than that and it was barely over $500

Microsoft even agrees that Vista is "annoying" I just read in the Business section of my newspaper that Microsoft is making Windows 7 less "annoying" than Vista. Well, we'll see how that works out.

Windows Xp is twice as fast as vista and I think that the main reason why people want vista is because of the new look and gadgets. You can download something called The Vista transformation pack. It basiclly changes your computer to look like vista with new desktop icons and colors.

As for making your pc look like vista, who cares? i mean first of all, a OS that can be pretty should be, Xp was prettier than its predecessor.

Well when i buy a product i expect it to be finished.

Yes i agree small updates are necessary but when its downloading so much it actually tips me over my download limit i get angry! what ever happened to 'fit for purpose' and why is it i need a new printer now? even though the old one still works fine? and also why do i need to be asked permission for everything i do over and over even after i have turned the stupid thing off?

small issues maybe but for an expensive OS its unforgivable.

Here's some common reasons (some are from the Maxium PC Magazine)

1. Unstable and incompatible kernel

2. Glitchy system (hardware and system health is fine)

3. Slow

4. Crashes a lot

5. Locks up and freezes

6. Incompatible with a lot of programs

7. A lot of bugs (even after SP1)

8. Unreliable

These are just some, but I don't see a point in continuing.

"microsoft helped them build os x" no, they didn't, but microsoft bought tons of apple shares in 1998.

i like mac os x, and I don't like features of it being taken into Vista, and I don't want to believe that MS had thought of these features before Mac OS X had them (although apple might have been developing them before MS) but what are you gonna do?
