If there is a track playing on only one deck, will the level be louder if the fader is 100% on that deck rather than sitting in the middle?

On my console, when I pan a track all the way, for example to the left the level coming out of the left speaker is louder than it was before, as it is pushing out its own plus the level that would be coming out of the right speaker too. I was just curious if it was simular to that.

quick question. i am thinking of buying a second hand ipad 1 64 gig... i have the ipod touch 64 gig and will sell it to fund the ipad 1 and will end up costing me about €100 more..numark have just released the idj pro for ipad which is a sexy bit of kit.. my question is will the app work fast enough on the ipad 1 compared to ipad 2.I will also be using the ipad 1 as a controller for my mac mini etc at home. I have the xoom also but that will be sold as well? ( should never have bought the xoom

@cheekychappie3 I have the ipad 2, and I have to say djay is an awesome app. Incredible value for money. On the flip side, I always use my Macbook Pro for live use, just because of the flexibility of sound cards & controllers. Slightly off point there...

The ipad 1 is perfectly capable of running djay, HOWEVER, if you do want to adjust the tempo of your tracks, the ipad 1 DOESN'T allow you to use the keylock feature, that's only available on ipad 2.

tip: If you double tap at the pitch control it returns to zero.

The app is great guys, i use it for practice (& enjoy ofc) and also in my weekly show at a local webradio.
