@jcostello117 there is still an active online community playing this game round the clock every day on a server called Hyperlobby. The game has been updated by the user community. I would post links, but YouTube won't let me so search these on Google: Hyperlobby, Skies of Fire, and Joint Ops Virtual Combat School. That will get you started.

Hmm. With the TrackIR on your cap dosent that meen your restricted from looking. Because you cant look backwards and look at the screen

Good question. The ability to look behind and "check six" is a vital necessity. With TrackIR, the movement of the on-screen virtual view is exaggerated. For example, if you turn your head a little to the right, the virtual view turns a lot to the right. It takes a few minutes to get used to it.

The sim is made in Russia, so you get it all over the world. I think the Storm of war will get released in Europe before the US, as was the case with IL2. And I agree... I also want a girl who plays sims! :) Salute!

Maybe you guys know - in CFS3 is the mustang flight model seriously messed up or is it just mine? All the other ones behave like... well, fighters, all the stang does is stall and fall. None of the forums seem to mention it.

Truth is man, ALL the flight models in CFS3 are messed up. Real disappointment to me, but then I found IL2. The FM in IL2 is worlds better. The stang is still a tough plane to dogfight (as it should be) but handled well in IL2 it kicks some serious ass.

I love flight sims. But unfortunetly The pc comunity, expecialy flight sims, are becomeing less and less popular..

I loved CFS3 but now you cant play on line.

And im left with Flight sim x, which is fun but no dogfighting.

ANy one know a Great flight sim that looks great, has online servers, and alot of people play on?

IL2 Sturmovik is a good one, if you live in the US (dont know if they have international stores) you can buy the final version for arouns 20-30 US dollars

I'd suggest IL-2, there are a good number of servers for it. Also, sometime soon (hopefully) the next sim by the IL-2 creator will be out, Storm of War: Battle of Britain.

It's so hard to find local dedicated simmers...

I run 5 popular game servers from my house, but so far have been unable to gather enough people who want to play a simulation; Everyone is obsessed with shooters. I have just about every flight sim ever made, but nobody to play with!

Guess I'll have to just join an existing group. :(
