for reasons unknown in japan villain toys aren't released very much.... transformers were one of few exceptions to that. wierd ain't it?

@GladDestronger In later series starting with Zone, there was a dramatic drop in Decepticon Transformers. Only one Micromaster team and Metrotitan (a repaint of Metroplex) were released as Decepticons for that line. Seeing as though the Japanese were mimmicking what the American concept was, that's why they were more villian toys, though only up to that point, with Victory being the last series to have more or less an equal number of characters from either side released.

@anon23bf No. Voltron and Yuusha are two completily different entities from different time peroids! This is Brave Express Might Gaine, one of the eight Yuusha (or Brave) series from the 90's, who are close cousins to the Transformers, due to the fact they were made by the same Japanese toy company; Takara (now Takara Tomy). These series more or less came out in-between G1 and the Beast Era in Japan.
