Transcribed in Hollywood from a live Palladium broadcast of March 22, 1949 (Richard -------- was the unknown network announcer); Goodman's band was booked there that month, and AFRS monitored several of their late night network broadcasts during that period for inclusion in their "ONE NIGHT STAND" series. The Sextet, as Goodman announced them, consisted of Buddy Greco, Wardell Gray, Doug Mettome, Sonny Igoe, and Clyde Lombardi.
Didn't know Wardell Gray played with him! You learn something every day.
