Blowtorch was Easy! I Beat all the missions on Veteran except (Heart of the Reich, Relentless, and Downfall). All the Japanese ever do is spam grenades, and the Germans spray at you.

what i do is i kill a few people then run up so my guys finally move up and start killing bitches even though they dont do shit but die and this is the hardest mission on veteran there is no cover its too open and and way to many grenades and people are in groups and behind walls

don't get me wrong people but last 2 88s were easest for me as I ran to next to the tank cover after blowinging up my 2nd 88 so the checkpoint is right there, so when you die u just run to the place where the tank blow, continu till last cover just wait a little then run in the room and try yur best

just take cover and keep picking guys ,very slowly, evetually ur troops move up (alittle)..and chernov will yell "move up!" then you have to run up and help kill the remaining guys,,,then the pilar hould fall

I think its because your playing this on the x360 or the ps3.

On pc there is only 5 thrown @ 1 spot. On ps3 I find it 2 hard so I just play on hardend

@poolehart lol i havent seen a clip yet with the ammount i was getting thrown at me, ive managed to get from two guns destroyed, to four guns destroyed (but i had to start the level again to get a better save point) i will worry about the steps tommorow...dont think ill play this again on vetran, no fun in a game when im raging so much i want to rip the game out and snap the fucker lol

It is ticking me off that you say it is veteran but u survive about 8 shots at one point and there are no grenade spams except in one place :S

true, but My screen is red from the first time I get shot. I swear some of you will have that too, I reached that point before 1nce in Veteran in the same condition. It must be designed I guess, it's is the only way through. You really can't pass it without getting shot. If they let you kill in 2 shots, no one will ever pass, think about that?

I think the first one is difficult to pass in less shots, there are still bunch of nazi you can't kill while you run.

The 2nd is just very lucky. I knew someone would enter (I stayed in that left corner watching the doorway on the other side), but I didn't knew he was already in xD

There is no fucking way this is on veteran. The A.I on veteran is just insane. This is on hardened and in some bits it makes me think that its on normal mode.

This missions isnt really that hard if you keep pushing forward for the 1st part so the rusians and tanks move forward until you destroy the 4 guns. Obvously having to run from cover to cover to avoid the insane amount of grenades then just more or less camp and pick off anyone you see. Once the russians are at the top of the stairs in front of the Reichstag and your happy there's no one left in windows etc just run to the top too keeping to the right to avoid the falling pillar.

I was having the hardest time beating this level (after FLAK #1 and #2). I kept trying to just run into the building. I then learned that if you lay down and wait for you comrades to advance up and to the right of the tank, you can get to the building much easier. I used to get to the small building 1 / 20 times but after that I can get to it about 1 out of every 3 attempts

After the 88s do they enemies constantly respawn so you have to push the line or can you slowly thin them out??

Quick Question ...

Does the game only checkpoint again after you destroy 3+4? Because getting in the fucking building is hard enough. Ive been playing 2 solid hours and have managed to get there 3 times.

checkpoint after 1+2 and after 3+4

if you play long enough between 3+4 check and the end of the mission you can get another checkpoint. An important thing to note at the enemies only respawn so many times. Another option if you want to play it safe is to keep sniping with the PTRS then a kar.(kind of done here, not the extent to which I did it though) Eventually the russians will just keep moving up until there are virtually no more germans. when they are at the top of the stairs, approach the stairs but stay back.

Thats what i did. After taking down the guns ran back to the roof of the small builing thats between the 2 sets of stairs and picked off anyone i could see. Meant I could more or less just walk into the building on the right before the stairs. climbed the ladder and got the sniper rifle and just sat there picking off anyone I could see. Before long reznov shouted something about moving forward and I got a checkpoint.
