@13wlflvr btw i think its in the middle where the separation of the top layer and bottom layer meet. ive heard theres some crazy bacteria that live in that zone that makes the water there a purplish color.
i live in kirkville. the rangers dont pop up out of the trees haha i ride my bike through the no biking zones all the time. good video, should of went down deeper and found the monsters.
People can actually scuba there? Whenever I go there, I feel like park rangers jump out of the trees if they catch you doing something they don't like.
The importance of this lake, and the underwater scenes, is that this lake is notable as meromictic. Scientists study it for clues about what the oceans were like millions of years ago during a period of mass extinction.
The reason fishing is horrible there is that the oxygen layer is not very deep, and if fish cross the boundary layer they will die.
The only fish in there would likely have swum in from somewhere else. The camera was a robot so of course it would seem dull and lifeless.
@Hesychios fishings not that bad when they stock it in the spring with rainbow trout. gets crappy again after a week of all the anglers taking them right back out again.
We are diggin the music but the acting and cinematography is dull and lifeless. I don't believe those are even real fishies. If my kid was going to ESF and I was paying for such frivolity I would sue.

Where did you retreat to and how did the word get up the path ahead of the rangers?
