Jedna jedina !!! :)
thanks for the encouraging words,I'm going to Belgrade in May to get some more material for my music,up till now everyone here in England seems to like it when I perform Macedonian songs,I also like Bosnan stuff and some Serbian, but I must say Macedonian folk songs are the best,
I was born in Belgrade grew up with Macedonians and love to sing their music,I must be the only one in England who performs and sings Macedonian music here, worked all the chords for the songs myself and people here love to hear it.
Its a shame there is practically no large Macedonian community or showcases of our traditional music in England, and Im extremely glad to know that even a non-Macedonian (not that being Serbian is much differant) enjoys our richness in culture. Good luck with your music and hope to hear one of your compositions :)
thank you for your reply,it would be nice to know that you are a Macedonian,I went to school with a boy my age from skopje when I was in Belgrade and have always loved Macedonian music,I just did a performance in the Kings arms in eccleshall and people really liked it,as I'm coming to belgrade in may I hope to get some interesting material for the future, alex, aca.
well This song is sung in Macedonian, and no the song is not a Greek song orriginally nor is it Macedonian etc but the tune and possibly the words are from the Ottomon Empire thus from the Turks, but was made in the Balkans so in a way it is both Macedonian, Greek, Turkish, Serbian etc
Greetings, I am Macedonian and want to thank you for the wonderful words about Macedonian music. Let me say, Serbian music (Skadarlija) is great too and I very much enjoy Cune Gojkovic.
This is a very old song, originaly turkish (this explain the oriental rythm), taken by greeks and probably by other balkanic countries, like Serbia. I have heard this version Tsifteteli Tourkiko - Opa Nina Nina Nai, but I find that I like this song in any version, it is simple a evergreen. Thank for sharing. :)

@batispecela Pozor ! Pažnja ! Attention !!
Nije ANSAMBL TEODOSKOVSKI, nego - ANSAMBL TEODOSIEVSKI !!
Dakle - Stevo TEODOSIEVSKI !!! :))
OncleUjak 7 months ago
@OncleUjak Nije samo pogresno pisanje nego i pogresan snimak, ovo nije uopste ansambl teodosijevski, i to nije Esma.
barmanjoe 4 months ago

Makedonia never was Greek.. Makedonia conquered Greece
batispecela 11 months ago 12
Macedonia conquered Greece? :)
And Sparta conquered Athens and Korinthos conquered Athens what does that mean?
Jenkins han conquered all the mongols so Jenkins han was not Mongol?
if you are Macedonian as you say then you can speak and read the Ancient Macedonian inscriptions. can you?
cause i can...
cubetelevision 10 months ago
@cubetelevision
You'll never gonna learn! Macedonia isn't Makedonija.
Why "Ancient"? Why not "antički"? What is NOW?
XENOOOOOOOOOOO!

Why does Esma often make the "keep quiet" gesture?
oceynum 2 years ago
must be her signature pose.
batispecela 2 years ago
Probably she wants us to be quiet while she is singing :-)
rayhook 2 years ago
To draw attention to her lips, perhaps? =)
Don't know actually, but good that you've noticed, I'll ask around.
