When it comes to Burtons films and Christopher Nolans, Nolans are better by the FACT that Burton's movies where based around the comics and made the movie look like it was from a comic, but Nolan brought Batman to a level where it was relatable to everyone. It made you feel like it could happen and that is a element that is loved in movies

I dont know about any of you but these new batman movies are by far way way better then the other batman movies with the large amount of colors. minus the one with the penguine and joker.

The first Batman movies were a return to the campy TV series. The new movies return to the original nature of the Batman character. Much more complex, dark. Christian Bale by far delivers the best Batman.

You know nothing. Burton had a darker style than Nolan, it's Schumacher (who took on the Batman series AFTER Burton) who made Batman a comedy. Burton's movies are up there with Nolan's, maybe even better.

Nolan's movies got nearly perfect reviews(especially TDK). TDK is now #15 on Empire magazine's list of the 500 best movies of all time. The AFI is also adding it to their list of great films.

Burton's movies got average reviews and are not on any list of the best films ever. That being said I still enjoyed Burton's film.

I also loved Nolan's but I think they were a bit too hyped-up. Whith that being said, I'm pretty sure Batman Returns was on Empire's list (correct me if I'm wrong). I'll admit some scenes in Burton's movies may have left the casual viewer alienated, but some things are just too classic, the score, the actors, and the costumes (the black batsuit).

LOL. Batman89 got average reviews, Batman returns got below average reviews, it is by no means on Empire's list, atleast not in the top 300. That being said I actually prefer Returns to Batman89(big fan of DeVito and Michelle P).

I can't wait to see Heath Ledgers perfomance as the Joker. Apparently, Heath had some big shoes to fill seeing as how Jack Nicholson was his predecessor. That must have been why he took the role so seriously.

I am curious as to whether the Joker dies in this version as Jack Nicholson's Joker did in the original Batman movie. I think some people may have a hard time watching the screen death of an actor who is dead in real life. It might make it very hard to market this movie.

What makes Nolan's Batman films the best is that they're more realistic than past Batman films. I mean, if you just fell into a vat of chemicals and turned into a psychopathic clown would you be concerned about making people? No, you'd be more concerned with scaring the crap out of people.
