I think what I love most about this scene is that the girl is in complete shock of the situation and therefore needs protection. This makes me want to fight in front of women and kick peoples asses to demonstrate my ability to protect them. I think it is a very primal desire that other men share as well.

The camera cuts can get annoying (SOMETIMES), but the fight scene was well coordinated and blended very well imo.

@BusquedaBlues This scene was one of the first fight scenes in a while. You don't get to appreciate the choreography becaues every move is never done to it's fullest - there is a cut.. and you never actually see someone throw a punch, instead, it's already thrown when the cut ends. All in all it's a terrible scene and it gets nauseating with all the blinking going on on the screen. It was corrected in the third movie though, they did a much better job with those hand to hand sequences.

@BusquedaBlues Most definitely. Almost anything acted by or choreographed by Donnie Yen is a must. His ranges vary from kung for to more realistic hand to hand/MMA combat a lot. For some great choreographed "over the top" stuff, you cant beat the Drunken Master. It's amazing how long some of those takes were considering the unorthodox stuff Jackie Chan was doing in those Legend of drunken master fight scenes. All in all, I'd check out some of Donnie Yens newest work. check out Ipman vs 10

@CAZPERsayz Actually this is a mix of Krav maga and KALI so basically its hollywood fu and trust me only the US special forces learn all these advanced moves i know because i was transferred to the main stream US military 2 years ago and had to complete their training program as well as my standard British program and they teach advanced disarming and mainly focus on bayonette at least that was what i did the the US and British forces.
