When congress declares war on an enemy it is lawful. However saddening it is to watch dictators using force to kill their opposers; the dictators never last on their own for long. He points to all our past mistakes but there is also the past mistake of not stopping genocides in the Balkans and in Rawanda. Something like happened there could happen in Libya. So it's far from an easy call.

Most of the time I agree with Ron Paul. I have great respect for him and can certainly appreciate the merits of his view point, but I have to disagree with him here. The choice here is between allowing a dictator to use military aircraft to bomb his own people or to stop it and thereby give those Libyans who are fighting to overthrow him a chance at victory. After all, Americans owe our independence to France's decision to intervene against Great Britain during the American Revolution.

He now has diabetes and had heart failure. They proved Agent orange has cased and linked to both. He had to fight to get 60% disability. they will not give him 100% because he will not take Zoloft and participate in group talks with heroine addicts. He worked 30 years after Nam. I have lost all respect for government.

@manashard Govt. unions shouldnot exist. There are already civil service laws in place that protect these employees. Many states don't have collective barginaing for govt. workers. Many federal employees don't collective bargain. Those people aren't on the street begging for quarters. What has happeneed is that beholdend politicians and union bosses have made self-serving deals while the taxpayer hasn't been represented all all. The govt. unions are an interest faction feeding at the trough.
