  • Actually Finns:25,904 dead/mia,Soviets:126,875 dead/mia.I'm Russian and I'd like to say Talvisota was stupid shameful mistake of bastard Stalin and his commie command, most of Russians think so.Even genetically Northern Russians and Finns are close. But Finns were "lucky" to deal with so stupid unskilful soviet style of waging war never caring of soldiers lives.Never in its history Russia had losses more than opposite side.Anyway Finns and Swedes are the BEST in my favorite music Doom/Death metal!

  • @ArhSergey Typical winter war situation: Finnish soldier coming aout of a warm tent, taking his skis, coming near Russian line full of unequipped, unexperienced and drunk soldiers (alcohol as a remedy for cold), killing as many as he could then going back for dinner.

  • fins were with the germans

  • Remember Norwegian, Swedish and Danish volunteers also helped finland!

  • great soviet tactic... attack with mass... no luck.. double the mass... no luck.. double the mass again... generals getting gold stars for genius tactics...

    stupid communists...

  • stupid russians communists won the war fighting at the same time with the whole of europe - while not having the numerical superiority over the enemy

  • @taipohh That's why they lost almost 30 million in WW2.

  • Kollaa will HOLD - and it did.

  • Nice pointed huts,russians :)

  • Finnland needed some kind of fortification like Maginot line, czechoslovakian lines or Eben emael citadel

  • Attention!

When you see a word "FINLAND"

    1)be affraid, be very affraid

    2) prepare your headphones to listen good music

  • Dude got torched, and is just like smoking a cigarette and is like, dont give a fuck, i'm a boss.

  • what is the song's name?

  • @kis3008

Iron Maiden, but sorry, i dont know song's name

  • I am Russian and I wanna say [regarding invasion of USSR into Finland] - SORRY (yet this word is probably is insipid).

This was terrible disgrace - an attempt of Red Army led by Stalin to demonstrate the elaborated power and it met a good resistance.

In Russia when you still fighting being outnumbered by enemy is always treated as honor deed (for example, Brest Fortress - Germany vs USSR, ''41), partisan resistance, etc. But in this case and it is a shame - we were conquerers ;(

  • @I555I666wHeretic Its fault of Creedy Emperor not the civilians or the soldiers, i hope there will not be World War 3 ever, Greetings From Finland.

  • the name of the movie please!

  • R.I.P Finns that died defending their country and freedom! And R.I.P the many Swedes that died helping our brothers the finns in this war!

  • @rabies79 How about RIP to every single soldier who died in the Second World War.

  • @SouthparkContent Yes indeed, but i dedicated that comment to the Swedes and Finns, i also feel a stronger connection to them because im Swedish and we Swedes and Finns are basicly brothers, we will have allways helped eachother. i hope it will continue to be so...

  • @rabies79

Finns "hate" sweden, but its like brother hating brother... if there ever would be common enemy, Finns would help sweden for sure. Scandinavian countries are like our brothers.

Before that we would like to have fun coz of Sweden sometime :) nothing serous :))

  • oli tää kovaa aikaa!!!!!!

  • For Russians who hates us... we are still here, For Russians who wants peace, Greetings for you from Finland!

  • @JTHEMAN93 Эта война была позорной ошибкой, СССР был агрессором. Неужели Вы финны до сих пор нас такими воспринимаете? Успокойтесь, сейчас в России к Вам отношение более чем доброжелательное.

  • @Evgen13Sailor In english pleace? :P

  • @JTHEMAN93 This war was shameful error, the USSR was aggressor. Really you Finns, until now, us similar do receive? Don’t worry, now in Russia to you relation is more than benevolent.

  • The molotov cocktail was pretty ironic response to those goddamn commies who bombed Finland with molotov bread baskets.

  • @Styroksipaprika That just russians. you see, soviet union was nothing more then russian empire with difrent name. Russians have allwasy sawn them self as "superior nation" bechose of their size. so their treatment of others was pretty xenophobic. kida simliar how Americans see them self. Just like to amercians in vietnam, russians where told that they where there to "libarate finland from facists".

  • This is one of the best way of treating fucking communists! Cheers for brave Finnish Nation! Greetings from Poland

  • ага, орды бородатых русских медведей в лохмотьях атакуют бедных финнов

  • all movies of this subject is allways been...hmmm finnland=heroes, supermans, immortals and russians =lower than poor, bad and noobs (not being asshole or anything negative but realice the fact)

  • @222oree That´s true, but it was pretty much the case. Small Finland somehow managed to stop army 3x larger than Finnish army. Finland didn´t have any better equipmant than russians had so it had to be the men and their will.

  • @222oree Well they were noobs. Didn't even have winter uniforms. Rember that this was right after Stalin killed everyone with competence out of paranoia, so there were no good commanders left.

  • @222oree

Movies ? i have seen only one movie... but i would like to see others which are done some other side than Finland. Please, can you tell some name of those films ? i would like to see them.

  • ...not gonna rage for every second of this video...

  • "kicked theyr asses" theyr asses got blown off!

  • Герої.

  • Ihan jees... Sabaton musiikki ja video toimii himpun paremmin.... sanoista puhumattakaan. mut ihan hyvä oli, älä lannistu!!!!

  • Wow 225000 i guess it was a typo

  • I love how russia lost 2500 soldiers in the winterwar, and the fins lost 2000.

  • @TheCheezit21 whaaaaat?

  • @TheCheezit21 Typo?

  • @TheCheezit21 typos.

Soviet casualties: 225,000; Finnish casualties: 22,000

  • @WachtAmWeb

    FIN: 70,000 total casualties

    USSR: 323,000 total casualties

  • @WachtAmWeb Paskapuhetta!! Hrutsev sanoi Kekkoselle että kannakselle katosi 1,5 miljoonaa ryssää jotka nyt lannoittavat karjalan metsiä. So,russian casualties was in winter-war about 1,5 million death russki-boys. :)

  • @TheCheezit21

Sory to say, but it was more like, Soviet casualties 200 000+ and fins, about 22 000

more info can be found at, en .wikipedia. / wiki/Winter_War

google winter wasr wiki , at english, you can get that same link

  • so what can i say tear falling cause my 2 grandfather was there and continuation war also... they werent in laplands- war what was play...

  • and finnish invented the molotav coctail.

  • finnish had damn good cannons on that time probably the best.

  • @LivetysWiretys Actually, no, most were quite old, but the artillery tactic used was new, concentration and co-ordination of fire.

  • @JRSchmuke they had swedish cannons that were quite good. then the finnish made there own version of the swedish 37mm bofors cannon.

  • i dont get the ending, can someone explain

  • @HalftrackProduction

War was over, finns lost big bit of land, but independent last!!

  • @HalftrackProduction the finnish won and there came peace so everybody was happy to go home as the war ended.

  • @LivetysWiretys :))) yay happy ending lol

  • Long live Finland and the brave Finnish people. Viva Finland!!

  • nice!

  • @raippaluoto thnx! :)

  • @Szkot2 hope you liked it, cos this movie pretty much follows the footsteps of finnish army thouse days
