  • So THAT's what a Champ sounds like! Ugh the mojo is just dripping from that rig!!! Awesome tone and playing man!!!!

  • nice playing ^^

  • I am at this moment awaiting the arrival of a custom set of Mick Brierley pickups,

    Out of all the custom hand wound boutique single coil demos I heard on the net Micks pickups sounded "very magical" and thats why I chose to Buy them.. I am having a special guitar made just for Micks pickups. The first single coils I will play in years... they just sound "deep and multi colored" punchy and airy at the same time...

  • Very Cool !

  • you want a 5y3 rectifier - the most tube "sag"

    5AR4=.2 sec

    5Y3 = .44 sec !

    thats alot!

    i'm pretty sure the one in this video has a 5Y3 tube

    sweet demo btw

  • answer me this. What small fender amp has the most sag.I have a 5f1 ,Its great but no sag, even with an old rca rectifier.I want to have a fender kit built with vintage sag.Probably a princeton. Great playing by the way .I love your amps.

  • @Roos15 Single ended amps sag intrinsically don't sag (well technically they should, but minimally). So look for one with more than one power tube if that's what you want.

  • Nice playing! But why on Earth would you replace the stock pickups in a genuine vintage Strat?

  • because these pickups sound better than the originals, the originals are safely stored away in case I ever decide to sell the guitar (not likely)

  • Fair enough! I guess not every vintage guitar sounds as good as it should.

  • This is the Champion 600, the only difference is the early ones were brown and tan vinyl and the later ones were tweed.Internally they are identical

  • Wow...that's some heavy handed blues. Cool vid. I like the way you demo all the positions. Can you post another with some easier picking and volume rolled back a bit?

  • I'm making some more videos soon, Will show more variety in playing next time... thanks

  • thats a really good tone still need to get 8000$

  • these are around $1000 in original condition

  • Sounds great, the only 5C1 on youtube. How does it react with the guitar vol rolled off?

  • it cleans up really nicely, you just use the controls on your guitar for variations.

  • The subtitles are done on iMovie before uploading

  • that sure does sound good

    how do u do that subtitle thing saying the name of the amp etc at the start?
