The people that work at the VA are for the most god awful and nasty towards veterans. They themselves are often veterans and look at the veterans that come there for help like they are scum.

fuck the war and the government, even the people who do get their "meds" always wind up killing themselves anyways, the pills they give them have chemcails 2 make them more depressed, sending alot over the edge, this saves the va money cause now they got less people they have 2 take care of, thats all it is man, war over oil and pushing people 2 the break so theres fewer and save a buck or 2, fuckin evil is what it is

You know what is so sad is that I get 100% Service Connection for an illness I don't have instead of getting it for the illness I do have. It's a long story, but the fact is VA could not Service Connect me for my back injury during service, but they could service connect me for the mental from that back injury. It's so sad that I could not get Service Connected properly when there are literally thousands of veterans not getting anything. Va ruled me Incompetent because they pay me.

Tyler Zeigle is a true hero along with all the other US solders. I'm a good friend of Tyler's and he is one of the most inspiring, loving, coolest people you could ever meet. He has been through so much yet his outlook on life is 100% positive! To the person who says his nose is fine and he doesn't deserve anymore disability than that, or anyone who has anything bad to say about Tyler or any war veteran, how un- American of you. You deserve to be thrown in a fire to burn slowly!

THere is no laws that protect you from the governemtn admitting tehy did you wrong you were stupiad to trust them like I was. I was apoligized to and alled and the federal gov admits losing my reocrds and the VA says so what, to bad no records no compensation. So I been waiting years I had to gather buddy letterss oh yeah the buddy letters the VA calls them laymand letters and also says who cares what you buddy letters say. Women vet here, the best thing to advise is DO NOT SERVE, the government admits losing and misplacing my records (NPRC) now after 6 years I am still fighting the VA and the red tape burracy. I have wrttee the white house my state polticians and NO one cares. The government loses your records and admits and the government tells you too bad you trusted us. there is no laws that protect veterans from the government incompintency when NPRC losses your medical records and even admit it..to bad

@BigBry49 Yes I was telling a group of enlisted at a decom to make copies of all your records at least six months prior to discharge and make sure it's accurate, because things get lost. I think they do it on purpose though. Im 30% lost of the use of my left leg, limited right leg use, gulf war syndrome symptoms not addressed by the VA because they say it's mental (rash, intestinal problems, all the stuff). Ever see anyone with a rash thats mental?

My grandfather is a viet nam vet who doesnt have any actual physical disabilities, and he gets 4000+ a month.

There is no reason this guy shouldnt get much much more than that.

My friend lost his leg up to the hip in Vietnam and the Va awarded him 75%, a new leg every so often and a clothing allowance to cover the cost of the the damage that his false leg causes.

Injury ratings not changed since WWII 60 years ago. Spineless VA admins slashing already-meager disability pay by downgrading injuries such as being blown up, set on fire and amputated.

I am beyond proud of the young veterans and their families who've exposed these cruel and shameful U.S. policies.

Service men and women are fighting enemies they cannot see, both overseas and at home in the VA.
