  • Душа высоко к свету тянется, наполняется любовью, все житейское уходит... Так хорошо и благостно!

  • love this...

  • If you believe in God, whatever name He may be given by your priests and your enemies, you know He gave Man poetry, physics, literature, mathematics, music, painting and all earthly arts and sciences for creating beauty and reaching truth and eternity in heaven.

And if you dont, you can still name God those talents of the gifted ones.

  • @Escal21 Wonderful comment, congratulations.

  • This story and song would make a great movie. Unfortunately hollywood only likes to make movies about russian mafia.

  • @ms767210 Hahah, right. Anyone know where i can get the lyrics? :-)

  • @ms767210 Well, do not underestimate the average us & european & chinese assholes spending nights sighing watching Desesperate housewives.

  • Excellent singing, superb choir!

  • Plagio ¡¡ plagio¡¡ Campana sobre campana....

  • All I heard was a baritone singing. Very good though . . .

  • @biglhot75 Yes: the basso profundo sings within the choir. Here, I clearly hear a baritone for quite a while, but at the end of that piece ... well ...

  • Excellent bass singing! TY!

  • This is my favourite version of this song on youtube. I like it even better than Miller's, because the melody line is clearer and the singer sings it with more feelings, although Miller's voice is more penetrating.

  • This is from the CD Basso Profondo from Old Russian, and it's either Viktor Krutchenkov, Boris Tchepikov, one of the basses that make up the team with Wichniakov in the Orthodox Singer's choir. On Do Not Reject Me, it's Viktor Krutchenkov, Boris Tchepikov, and Viktor Wichniakov singing together.

  • yea def. not one of the four great basso profundi, ie. Miller, Pasuikov.... But still a large a bass. I'd like to know who

  • Does anyone know which note is at the very end of the clip?

  • it's a low g...

  • predivno!

    pozdrav iz hrvatske!!!

  • I don't know why these kind of Russian choir musics remind me of vast foggy and misty Russian tundras in the winter time with some single houses here and there

  • HRISTOS POSREDI NAS.

Just to say thank you for all your attention to the music and for the beautiful gifts that you give to us.

    Best regards from Serbia.

    Slobodan.

  • Dear Monica, this is and old Russian traditional song. There are many beautiful versions on youtube. If you type "The legend of the twelve Robbers" with that video (with excellent singer Kruglov) you can read the lyrics in English. Vladimir MIller's interpretation is worth listening too.

  • @tehen162 Thank you, Andrea.

  • there are not ortodox song! :))))) from beginning: "once leave 12 highwaymans- and ataman (cossack chieftain) named Kudijar" ... :))) my congratulations!

  • Who is the solo singer here? Very big voice.

  • "vladimir Pasuikov - Do Not Reject Me In My Old Age".....I found the name just by looking at "more info"....the quoted part is also the name of his clip here on youtube with his picture

  • But this is not "Do not reject me in my old age", which is a religious, orthodox chant. This is an old russian folk song: the legend of the twelve brigands. Their leader, the cossack ataman Kudijar commited dreadful acts, then repented and "his conscience was awakened by God". Eventually he became a monk in a monastry.

  • I know this is not that, I wanted to bring the name of Pausikov which the uploader has put already on the "tags" of this video.I should have said " Do Not Reject Me In My Old Age" is the name of another clip of him...A grammatical mistake ...sorry

  • grando

  • very nice!

  • Awesome, thank You very much!!!
