Where did the heat-shield above the barrel go? There are so many sub-variants of the M249 and Mk.46 now it's damn confusing.

@ReconTeam111 most guys take off the heat-sheild. It justs gets caught on shit and collects dirt. We never used them on our 249's or the 240's
