That series was about 10 years ahead of it's time. I used to watch it on NDR (mentioned at the end). Truely amazing stuff back then.

Cant speak for your friend but I loved the intro at the time.. btw the entire series is online at a few places in streaming video, you can easily pick it off with REAL Player. I researched a bit at USPTO and can't find any evidence of a copyright.

I remember this fondly from my highschool days. I remember a friend saying that he hated the introduction...I realize now that the rather aria-like theme music was probably the BBC's influence....great to hear it once again.
